Surgeons top notch. Only nice thing I can say. Patient Advocate openly rude and talked over top of any questions we had. Nursing staff extremely short handed. I won’t use the word I’d like too, but my nurses “accuracy “ was found to counter the facts. My surgeon just happened to walk in and discovered the inaccuracy and was not pleased. I went the because of surgical staff. If I could have I would have asked to be transferred immediately afterwards to another location.

I chose this location for my 3rd birth, I wanted to attempt a VBA2C and every other provider wouldn’t even allow me to attempt, but the providers at the Providence Location had SEVERAL team meetings to ensure advocacy, knowledge and support to make this dream of mine come true. I delivered by 3rd baby boy via vaginal birth on 2/1, delivered by Midwife Ifeoma Ilo! She was incredible! Several times I wanted to give up but she educated, advocated and supported me!! I couldn’t ask for better providers or support team.

I do not recommend Novant Health in general but specifically this location. I arrived for stitches due to a facial laceration following a mobile scooter accident. I was quickly escorted to a room and assessed. After this, I didn't see anyone for 2 hours. I was denied a single cup of water and told that the doctor was busy with other patients. I understand in an emergency situation, others may have been more critical than myself. For the first couple of hours, I was ok with waiting. What I didn't appreciate was the painfully slow pace of nurses and staff. Their stares and whispers passed unnecessary judgement. For them, it appeared to be just another day. For me, it was a very traumatic experience and a horrible day. The nurse didn't even greet me! She just came in and out at random with no kindness or concern. Another unnerving fact is that there were flies in the room. Flies in a hospital! I found this disgusting. After 3 hours of waiting and not even being treated, I simply walked out. They still billed me for a full service though! $1,350.00 for this nightmare and not so much as a bandaid. I'm disputing it of course but that'll take countless calls and a considerable amount of my time to resolve. Spare yourself the headache🙏 Go elsewhere! These people do not care about your well-being! Avoid at all costs.

Charging for parking to visit a patient is absurd !!!

the Presbyterian Hospital ER has been the only ER I go to for need of help for a medical problem that I have had over the year's they are very good with getting you in and seeing how to help you with your medical problems I give them a 5-star rating every time

I was in the ER at this hospital a few weeks ago. There were a lot of people there, but they took me in immediately, assessed me and made decisions based on that assessment. I sat for 2 hours and was seen before some people sitting there already when I came in. People need to understand that Emergency rooms are for emergencies. Yes, your broken finger hurts, and tummy is upset, and they will get to you, but its not more important than someone with serious trauma.The Huntersville population has exploded over the last few years and the hospital ER is being used as an Urgent care. If you're waiting 5 hours my guess is there are a lot of people in the back being treated for something more life threatening. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors that work long 12 hour shifts to help save lives. I know you care about your work.
