Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

I tried to reach out to my therapist Angela Clarken. When I called it told me there was an error completing the call and hung up. She is a wonderful therapist who listens well, communicates fluidly and truly hears your story. She isn't afraid to laugh with you, never crossed boundaries between appropriate and inappropriate, provided me with resources and help outside of just my sessions. A truly helpful soul.

My child with ADHD, depression, and on spectrum had been seeing them for a couple years. Were seeing a training doc bc no certified doc available. We were just denied treatment bc of no shows. I did not show today, but past "no shows" were actually rescheduled. Just told today that have to reschedule wi 72 hrs, if not, it's considered a NS. Would have been nice to know this ANYTIME before this happened. Or, if I went to reschedule, they could have said, " this counts as a no show, or one more and we drop you. That would have been a game changer. Be proactive. I am now really worried about my child's mental health and they admitted they would do nothing at this point.

I've been at this location for about 4 years now and each year I'm set up with a whole new psychiatrist for I don't know why. I've had good experiences with the meds they prescribe but I've been having extreme agitation and irritability. Have been trying to contact my doctor for four days now and I finally get a call back from one of their nurses saying, "Your doctor told me to tell you to just stop that med and we'll see you at your appointment in 3 weeks. So now I have to deal with either extreme irritability or extreme anxiety for three more weeks. I will try my best but what if they say the same to an even less unstable person who retaliates or hurts others due to the side effects. Let's hope that doesn't happen. EDIT: they just told me even though my psychiatrist had told me that my appointment was over zoom, that all of a sudden it has to be in person and this isn't the first time.

Good luck trying to get an appointment anytime before 6 months. They schedule 6 months out. Then, call on the day of the appointment stating, "The provider will be out of the office due to an emergency." When it comes to rescheduling, they will not get you in anytime soon. You'll be waiting a minimum of 2 months for a rescheduled appointment date/time after they cancel. Everyone wonders why there's a mental health crisis, but it takes 8 months to be seen by a mental health provider? That is highly excessive!! The best part? The staff are rude and disrespectful when you state you have an issue with waiting 8 months for an appointment. They will then tell you that "you have an attitude and it's not my problem you need mental health care." They are clearly miserable and need to find new jobs, preferably away from people who need help. Voice to text is wonderful for evidence. Make sure to use it and record all of your calls to protect yourself if you do choose to go/have to go to this joke of a place. It's better to learn from the rest of us and just not waste your time here.

After calling my old doctor to get an appointment and them telling me to get online and use my insurance I called CHI "doesn't care about patient safety" Immanuel health behavioral outpatient center. They said my insurance company website is wrong none of their providers are taking new patients at this point. I should use the emergency room to get seen. This suggestion after I said I didn't want to spend $600 to see my old doctor who's now out of network. Their answer to me, a man having a manic episode, and not a danger to himself but trying to avoid getting there is be seen in 4-5 months or go to the ER and over utilize the wrong vector to health care. This company doesn't care about my mental health nor yours. I'd fully recommend a different provider as nobody at CHI is going to help you in a pinch. My search for mental healthcare continues. Devastating.

These people are an absolute joke. It's no wonder why I had such a poor experience at this place. The Psychiatrist I spoke with, seemed professional. I will give him that, however, I had to correct him about something which was quite important, when he attempted to question me about what I'd just told him not even a minute prior. Instead of prescribing medications that I'd taken for years, he seemed to be more interested in using me as a guinea pig to experiment on. This is not the clinic that I've gone to for many years. The reason being, these people took over the smaller clinic that I used to visit. During the years I attended that smaller clinic, I went through what could only be described as hell, while my Psychiatrist and I ,tried different combinations of medication, until we finally found a formula that helped. However, despite having all of these records provided to them, they are the bigger company which consumed the smaller clinic, they seem hell bent on putting me through hell all over again - while they make me go through the entire process again 12 years later. The many excuses I were given as to why they wanted to go this route, made no sense whatsoever. There has to be some sort of incentive given to this company, by the pharmaceutical company who produces the drugs they're attempting to prescribe. That is the the only way to make sense of why they refused to prescribe medication that I've taken for years. At the end of the visit, I was bluntly told by David Wilton's supervisor, to go to another clinic, because they don't prescribe those medications there. I find it very hard to believe that Ambien isn't prescribed there. I believe I just didn't fit their personal criteria of someone they would help. I however did fit the criteria for a guinea pig. Not to mention, the medication that they did prescribe, will lower my blood pressure to an unsafe level, due to the fact that I am already on hypertension medication. How helpful could this be?

I showed up 10 minutes early for my 2pm appointment today. After filling out paperwork that was essential for the crisis physiatrist (Dr. “O”) to reference for my current situation, I waited in the waiting room until 215pm before I was invited into her office for a consultation. The first thing she asked was for me to explain my situation to her through my words. I began to explain the situation to her until she butted into the story to let me know that our appointment was running short on time (it ended at 230pm). So I worked on answering her questions until I was interrupted again to be told I’m not giving her the answers she wants. At this point I made it known to her that it is confusing (on top of a little frustrating) to ask me for an explanation to only interrupt me and change the scope of focus on the situation. The things I was most disappointed by were her lack of time management, lack of compassion/empathy/understanding/communication with her patients and how I was treated like I’m not a priority in her “busy” day. That plus the fact that her only remedy to help me was to take me off my medication that was working and to change/increase the dose of the medication that was causing side effects of irritability and anger was pathetic… the visit ended when she went on to call security to escort me out of the building for my rude behavior.
