You can tell the people care, but the quality of the care is poor, especially psychiatry.

if you have an eating disorder this facility will make it worse. i have struggled with anorexia nervosa most of my life and my largest focus in treatment here was focused on my complex ptsd, eating disorder, and sexual trauma. my therapist was well aware i had an intense history of being starved and starving myself, i told her i had only been eating small portions of fruit and plain popcorn out of anxiety around food. stonefaced she told me i "dont look like ive been eating that little', i had lost over 70 pounds in the span of a year , i was constantly trembling due to feeling my body freezing and my digestive system frankly was not working, by that point in my time with this facility i had lost a further 20 pounds and was medically underweight. when I told the situation to pam to simply try and find a new therapist she told me I needed to schedule a time to apologize to my therapist for hurting her feelings, while i sobbed over the phone that the situation with my therapist had resulted in my eating disorder being worse. i lost almost all hope in this facilities therapists, and due to not finding another therapist i was unceremoniously through the portal told I was no longer allowed to get psychiatric medication through strong ties, no email, no letter. this facility has undeniably made my eating disorder harder to manage.

Could not leave a worse review. Absolutely no transparency, uncaring and immature staff. I used to enjoy this place before my first therapist left, and I can certainly see why they did. Disorganized mess of a facility. Will not let you transfer therapists pretty much at all, no specialized care, pretty much JUST an addiction facility. But, they don't even have a social worker to help out with insurance and housing concerns anymore, so that's just about useless too. Do not go here.

My husband was in crisis and they offered no help. They let him struggle and suffer alone with no guidance. Absolutely no follow up. I'm not sure what purpose your facility holds. When your patients need you the most your absent... Are you too busy? Like every UR medicine facility. You all should be ashamed of the failure of care you provide.

They help the people and families that need, and want the help. I have and will continue to refer people to them. Thank you for all the support everyone at Strong has given to our family.😊
