I have had great service there. All the staff are wonderful. I needed to ask them a question about a procedure I have coming up. You have to go through the maze at Mpls VA phones and could never get through. I just wanted to know if I get a port installed if NW Metro is able to do labs and IV’s through the port. I’m under the impression that it takes an RN to do that rather than just a blood draw tech.

Dr. Steffens was incredible this morning. It was my first time going to the clinic so I was uncertain about what to expect. I have heard good things about this location prior which ended up being accurate. I had multiple chances to ask any questions I had of Dr. Steffens throughout my appointment which was welcoming. When I had some labs done, the nurses were also incredible and friendly.

They will not answer the phones to make an appointment. I tried for 3 days sitting on hold and one day they picked up and hung up. My husband seems to like going there and said I should walk in there to make an appt. He is retired and probably doesn’t mind the wait as much as I do. Maybe I will try back in 5 years years when I’m retired.

I went here today for an annual exam. I was impressed with the staff! I had Dr Steffens. She communicates everything she does and is very considerate. Nurses are friendly. Comfortable environment. I started going here last year after an accident. Very thankful to the VA for helping me through rehab and northwest for yearly checkups.

I had an appointment for 04/22/2025 they acnceled it and said that I would have to reschedule 04/24/2025 they canceled again 04/24/2025 I went to the emergency room at minneapolis va because I could no longer tolerate the pain of a full blown nasal infection. They gave me 5 days of baby dose antibiotics and sent me on my way, It was dark and I was having a hard time seeing due to blurry vision.I strayed off the freeway by accident.I wound up on broadway at a gas station with bullet proof glass and later at George floyd square where I was chased. I called the va for help and they told me to go to the nearest emergency room and everything would be paid for. I spent 04/26/2025 at mercy hospital on my birthday. They did a ct scan and blood tests and told me that I had blockage about the size of a golfball in the nasal chamber behind my right cheek, dehydration and kidney problems .they kept me overnight with saline running all night and gave me amox-clavic acid and nasal spray and said that it may take two weeks to go away. Now I have a follow up appointment tomorrow with Pa. Beth Walker fingers crossed because my name is not George Floyd. Wish me Luck!!!!!!!!!

The staff at this clinic is about as useless as they come. Reception is really nice though. Outside of them, it’s a place that will give you headaches and stress. I had a PCP leave and since then, I don’t get appropriate care here. These health care providers try to deny you access to have lab tests done, “losing” blood vials that have been drawn from a person. I don’t understand why they are allowed to harm patients by not providing proper health care services. It’s your job. Some of these people need to find different occupations. Get it together !!

Checked in 15 mins early to my appointment. After waiting 90 minutes past my appointment time I finally got seen & they said “we forgot you were here” after me going up to the front desk to speak with the desk lady they still said this. Pathetic & I won’t be back to this clinic. I’ll go out of my way to not go here. Ramsey, MN VA clinic. Do better.
