Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

I was sent here in June of 2023 because I was severely depressed after a stroke. I did not want to be by myself but my family( my sister and my son) refused to let me stay with them. I took an overdose and when it did not work I was transferred from Emergengy room in Charlotte NC to this facility at 11:30 Saturday night. Very earry like a nightmare. The sounds of silence and empty halls was terrifying. Reminded me of one flew over the coo coos nest. After 6 nights I was released. Never so glad to leave a place. Felt like jail and the food was awful. I was over medicated and after 39 days of staying with my aunt in Sourh Carolina ( bless her heart) I was able to go home. Because I kept asking to see a physiatrist but because I lived in NC and was staying in SC that was not covered by my insurance. I asked several doctors to change my meds. It worked and the depression was gone🙏

This facility is very neglectful. The workers are extremely rude to patients and doctors don’t give information in a timely manner.

I really really wish I could give this place 5 stars. They helped my husband tremendously and they communicated very well with me as to what was going on and how he was doing. They asked me my opinion on how I felt he sounded and looked when I spoke with him on the phone and saw him in person. Everything from admittance to discharge was 100% 5 stars. Unfortunately, I have to give it 4 for this reason. Prior to being discharged he had an appointment set up with a therapist that was scheduled the week before his medical emergence happened. We kept that appointment while he was hospitalized. At the social workers request I had provided them with her name and phone number so they could see if she was in network and how it would work since her appointment was set up through an EAP. None of that was ever done, so when my husband had his appointment the night he got discharged she told him that she wouldn't be able to help because he needed someone long term and also someone who would see him in person. Which I completely understand. My husband called the social worker at the hospital today and left 2 messages. She called him back and told him that she didn't feel comfortable providing him with another Therapists name. Less than 24 hours after he was discharged all of a sudden there's no more help. It's quite upsetting. Had the original therapist been called on Friday as I had assumed she was, they would have set him up with an appointment for another therapist. Also, I struggle to understand how so soon after his discharge they seem to just wash their hands of him. Like I said everything up until this point was absolutely amazing and we are so grateful for them. The entire staff. I'm just disappointed with this one thing.

By far the best facility in the state

Worst facility I was ever at. And I was at a few. When I asked them to do a hormone test because I was pretty sure it wasn't a mental health issue but rather a menopause issue, they refused. When I was told I was being released, they took it back and said they were going to hold me longer. My daughter called them and they ended up releasing me because she threatened legal action. They are so awful. They have this area they force people to stay in like a glass fish bowl. It's terrible.

I don't do mental health, I think I was put in the wrong unit but still the doctors, techs, group workers, social workers, were all Fantastic. I even stayed longer then I should have. All I had to was ask to talk to someone. Each individual I talked to wanted to get to know people. Spanish speakers were treated in a very efficient way. I ever got an UberLift when I was getting discharged. Not many places do this kind of help.

This facility is currently trying to discharge my sister who is not in her right mind. My sister was sent here after assaulting my mother. We have asked for a neurologist multiple times due to her brain injuries and have been ignored. All they will do is give enough drugs to sedate a patient and send them home while they still exhibit psychosis behaviors. My mother is scared to bring my sister back in her house but the therapist there only offers the advice to call the police when she feels threatened. I'm beyond done with atrium and this hospital. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING to help us time after time, IVC after IVC. Each time we ask for a neurologist we are ignored. We now have to live in fear for my mother's safety.
