Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
Substance use disorders often occur alongside primary mental health conditions. Programs for co-occurring substance use disorders focus on both conditions, tailoring treatment for comprehensive recovery.

The lack of nurse availability was ridiculous. During my stay, 1 nurse, and 1 cna were all I had for availability and assistance. That clearly is not enough for proper Healthcare. It took my nurse up to 30 min to get to me when I needed assistance. Luckily I wasn't dieing. I'm not blaming the nurse, I'm blaming management. Hire more nurses. The lack of nurses is clearly a detriment to your service to all patients. So stop worrying about your bottomline, and hire more nurses. My family has been getting service from St Joe's for the last 20 years and this is the worst experience. The nurses need more help.

My Dad was happy with everything. The only thing he rated low was the coffee,he likes it still bubbling. Somehow he drinks it that hot 🥵🔥.

Doctor who did my EMG today was a complete jerk had no empathy and talked over me , Told me there's nothing wrong with me I've been suffering with chronic pain. He picked up a call while talking to me left the room and didn't return. I felt completely humiliated and not seen. The woman who did the first half of my emg was kind and amazing.

I want to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Aids, Technology Support, Food Services and all those who were so kind and helpful to me for my 15 day stay from intensive care to being discharged to go home. Also, thank you to the helicopter crew for bringing me to St Joseph from St Mary’s in Kankakee. God bless you all. Francis J Gianotti, Kankakee, IL.

Terrible is all I can say. My call button would not work in the Emergency Room!!! And maintenance men walked into the room I was in disturbing me which should never happen. And the doctor who I did not know who it was never explained what my X-rays or ct scans said. I had to unhook myself to leave due to nurses not coming back into my room after they handed me my discharge paperwork and never went over it with me!!!!!
