Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

I went inpatient on November 2022 and didn't write a review then 'Cause I didn't see the need, but after being recently hospitalized at Rock Springs hospital in Georgetown, I can say; Shoal Creek is a 5 star hotel in terms of the care given, the amount of staff that ensures proper attention and care to each patient, the doctors and the therapists. This hospital is by no means a perfect place, but once you've been to another one, you really appreciate this one and the time spent in there.

5 Stars for excellent care and treatment. Every single staff member Tech, RN, MDs AND social workers and Music and Art herapists were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They all get along like family which is such a sacred thing, especially these days. Lastly the chefs.... literally some of the best food ever. I don't have my notebook with me to namedrop all the extra special ones but I will try to update later

This place is not a good place to leave your loved one they over medicate the patients and barely have an answer for you when you ask to talk to the doctors, all this place is is a place to stay and shove pill down your throat!! My nice was left with tremors for months after her stay there, On top of that my niece sign a information consent form for me so I could talk to the doctor and receive information, she signed it right in from of me and when I tried talking to the doctor, the doctor told me i wasn’t authorized any information, these doctors don’t know what they are doing and all they do is stall until you make it out of there!! Don’t leave your family here!

Impatient and cruel staff. Feel sorry for anybody that is still there for going to be there.

This place saved me. I was in a dark hole and they helped me realize I needed to make some changes. The doctors, nurses, social workers, and techs were some of the most kind and compassionate people I’ve ever met. The group sessions were wonderful and gave me the confidence and support I need to go back out in the world. This place is excellent.

This place lied to me to get me to stay when I wanted to leave. The psychiatrist never diagnosed me yet they had me on medications. They told me if I stayed and took medication prescribed to me the state would pick up the charges and help with payment, this was not true. I was billed full price for the entirety of the stay, even though I was said to be ready to be released. The psychiatrist only saw me one time in two weeks. I wasn't told anything about the meds I took, I had adverse reactions like fainting spells. Theres no talk therapy with a therapist. You can't look up and medications or side effects because you have no internet. I would strongly discourage anyone from checking in here and try other options first. The treatment here (if you can call it that) was dehumanizing. Theres more I could say but will leave it as that.

The care I received here was wonderful—especially the DBT groups with Diana and the PCT Teresa, who was so caring and kind. The doctors actually listened to you and included you in your care plan moving forward. The food was outstanding as well. I highly recommend!
