The receptionist loudly argues with patients on the phone telling them the doctor will not refill their prescription because they missed appointments. They won’t refill your maintenance medications if they dont get their money. Greedy business practices EDIT: HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS that they only have 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. Some of the 5 star reviews look very fake and show pictures that are not from this clinic.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust this place with your mental health it was a horrible experience that negatively impacted my mental health(the one thing they were supposed to help me with) DO NOT waist your time, money and mental health with this place. The most disorganized company I have ever dealt with. I would recommend LifeStance Health Illinois, they have been a million times better as they are professional, organized, clean, inviting and actually care about you and your mental health. Vivia tries to trap you in by only giving you enough meds until your next visit and then fights with your insurance company as your insurance company will not allow this type of shady sales practice. Vivia should be ashamed to call themselves a mental health provider

this office has just been totally negligent in regards to prescribing/refilling medication. i never get responses to messages sent through portal, never receive calls back. i go for in-person visits, so it’s not that. they’ve put medical issues in my chart that i do not have - i’ve asked them to remove it several times, to several people, and they refuse to do so. the main medication they have been failing to refill for me is medication for mental health, which can cause many issues if you stop taking it abruptly. the current psychiatrist even told me it could cause strokes and yet i’m still completely ignored . i’ve finally been able to get into a new office that takes these matters seriously so good riddance but the whole office needs to be restructured. they simply do not care or are just so completely disorganized that you get left behind.

Business structure is by far terrible I did an appointment for an IN PERSON and I even confirmed if it was in person and they said yes well turns out the appointment was telehealth in fact and I did not receive a notification nor did I get a call and I’m honestly disappointed because I used to come here a lot but I barely do now because they want me to do my appointment via telehealth and not in person so I’m annoyed about it. Next time schedule what I ask for and not what you want me to attend too. Also notify me as well that it’s NOT in person I prefer in person for the third final time. Either than that I’m giving this place a 0 if I could.

DO NOT GO HERE if you need consistent reliable care. The other locations may be better but this one is completely disorganized, and communication between the providers and patients is all but impossible. In the 3 months that I have been going I’ve had so many “mistakes” happen that have been detrimental to my overall health and well being. I HAVE HAD AN ALMOST IDENTICAL EXPERIENCE AS DESCRIBED IN THE OTHER ONE-STAR REVIEW just with different providers, and strongly suggest seeking care elsewhere. It’s quite clear they are under-funded based on their negligent practices.

This place is the best the decorations and the outside area represents chicago very well. I would say this is my safe space, they have helped me with a lot. I been going there for about a year, they really aim to help you no matter what. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable, nice, & just caring. They offer great services regarding your health & let’s not forget it’s a non-profit organization & you can come in no cost which is great because if you’re struggling they will help you. I’m grateful I actually found a place that can truly help us. Thank you VIVIA.

It has been WONDERFUL dealing with the staff at VIVIA! They are so RESPONSIVE and easy to communicate with. They take the INITIATIVE in ensuring the wellbeing of their clients and make everything EASY! In particular, I am always happy when Oriana answers the phone, I feel like we have a real partner working together with us.

I have been going to VIVIA for over a year and every visit has been an outstanding experience. I am extremely impressed with the level of care I receive from all the clinicians, their genuine concern for all of my health needs, the time they take to listen, and ability to answer my health questions is fantastic. I believe there should be more facilities like this that encompass all physical and mental health needs.
