Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

Personnel is bad. And when you’re watching someone you love in pain, and the people around you look like they’re just going through motions, it hits hard.

I gave birth at this hospital recently, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and distressing. The room where I delivered had a strong animal odor — almost like cats — and the floor under the bed on the 3rd floor was visibly dirty and sticky. It didn’t feel sanitary for a new mother or a newborn. Some of the nursing staff showed poor bedside manner and lacked compassion. One nurse in particular pressed extremely hard on my abdomen during recovery, causing unnecessary pain. I understand post-delivery care involves monitoring, but there is a clear difference between medical necessity and insensitivity. Several nurses seemed disengaged once the doctor left the room, and there was very little genuine communication or reassurance. We also felt pressured to consent to procedures we had already declined multiple times (including circumcision and various “optional” newborn tests). Parents should not have to repeat “no” three times to be respected. Overall, the hospital environment and staff attitude made what should have been a joyful time feel stressful and unsafe. I wish we had chosen a different facility. Kentucky deserves higher standards of maternal care, and I hope management seriously reviews the sanitation, communication, and consent practices at this hospital :(

I want to recognize Aleah Hearth for her outstanding care, compassion, and follow-through during and after my recent ER visit and emergency surgery. In a moment where I was overwhelmed and scared, Aleah was the calming voice I needed. She reassured me, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt safe and supported every step of the way. Her follow-up after my discharge was above and beyond. She didn’t just treat me like another patient—she treated me like family. It’s rare to find someone who can provide both medical professionalism and heartfelt compassion so naturally. Baptist Health is incredibly lucky to have such an exceptional nurse practitioner on their team. Aleah made a very difficult experience easier, and I am deeply grateful for her care. Thank you, Aleah, for being a true light during a stressful time. 🙏💙

Used to think this was an amazing place to be treated and then doctors who are like Dr Scott who leave even excruciating pain while you're throwing up blood and say I don't do pain meds here I'm not that kind of doctor what kind of doctor are you one that treats people and make sure they're comfortable and their blood pressure isn't through the roof and they're shaking and crying or one who thinks that he knows everything you're going downhill guys severely you're turning into Baptist Floyd the quickness and that's sad to say this place used to be a five-star place I wouldn't even give it the star if it would allow me to no. To add to this post I'm talking to my lawyer about sueing Baptist for the treatment of their patients pa Julie Dr riddle and Dr worst all need to have their licenses pulled. I literally told the Pa if u come any closer to me your gonna have to call security and walked out after handing her a urinal full of bloody urine from a possible kidney stone

I received the best service I could ask for! On Oct. 10, 2025 I walked into the ER with (Shortness of breath, vomiting & diarrhea) was greeted right away & was brought right to the room. I don't think it was 5 minutes when the doctor (she was unbelievable 😊) came in. Then my wonderful nurse (Jennifer, one of the best nurses I ever came across) & Jonathan came in. Both went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I was then admitted to the Observation Unit with severe side effects of a medicine I was on & issues with my gallbladder. I'm not actually sure what to say about the OU. Everyone went above & beyond my stay. Alexi(a) or (Ally)? she was my nurse the first day & she knew everything she was supposed to do to make sure I was comfortable. Absolutely loved having her. Then Charles was absolutely amazing on 3rd shift, he had me laughing & made sure I had everything I needed. I can't say too much about the food cuz I was on a liquid diet. The only issue I had came the last night I was there which was Saturday. It took 2 techs to take my blood & then messed up my hand with 2 different spots so it's bruised. The nurse had to come in & take it which it was on the other hand. I had the best experience of service I ever had. Since moving here 5 yrs ago Baptist Hospital is my go to if I need an Emergency Room.

I can’t say enough good things about the care I received here. I came in as an ER patient due to a very painful case of diverticulitis and stayed from 9/24 to 9/26 in room 547. Nurses: Casaundra, Shawna, Hanna, Diane. Nurse Aides: Denny & Kya. Housekeeping Hawa. Dr. Yager & Dr. Hatezman, Nurse Practitioner: Brittany — so compassionate, patient, and always ready to help with a smile. The doctors took the time to listen and explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and cared for and gave me peace of mind. Priceless. They went above and beyond their duties, connecting with me outside the scope of their job requirements, which truly made me feel seen and cared for. Housekeeping was very kind and worked hard to keep things clean. If I could offer one little suggestion, it would be to make sure the rooms are cleaned a bit more thoroughly and consistently. Especially the floors. Hire more staff for this department. Even with that, I could see how dedicated they were to making sure patients felt at ease. They did the best with what they have. Which shows exemplary resilience and mindfulness for their patients. Overall, I felt truly cared for by everyone — from the medical team to the support staff. Their kindness made a big difference during my stay, and I’m very grateful.
