Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
Substance use disorders often occur alongside primary mental health conditions. Programs for co-occurring substance use disorders focus on both conditions, tailoring treatment for comprehensive recovery.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

This place is a complete joke if I could leave a 0 star review I would. I was admitted for 4 days and they did nothing to help just followed me around with an iPad to ping my ankle tracker. If anybody is needing help this is not the place it might as well just be a prison with cushions.

This place is shocking to me. Diminished my son's need for full mental health evaluation, inaccurate charting- claimed child needed discharge (diagnosed with flu while there) because he was "so sick" yet had not checked fever for 10+ hours - it was 104! Of course, now that is omitted from the chart record. Charted he actively participated in therapies with enthusiasm on days when he was actually quarantined and bedridden. Promised options for outpatient network to get us out the door - resources are not an option. Health care facilities that have this much inaccuracy and omission of details mislead families and are not helping our kids who are in mental health crisis. Dreadful place. Update…. Tried to meet with administration and facility leaders to discuss our experience in hopes that awareness is promoted. Baptist was not willing to meet.

I’ve been here three times, and this place has definitely gotten better with each stay. The most recent time I was here, they gave me a stuffed bear when I couldn’t have my own stuffed animal yet. When I couldn’t sleep, the night nurse even warmed up my blanket — that was really sweet of her. They don’t give you medication on the first day, which I don’t like, and you have to come in without wearing anything under the gown, including underwear. The food wasn’t the best, but the grilled cheese was really good. I was in the teens area, and I have to say, Luke was the best tech there. He gave the best hugs, was really nice, and helped me a lot during my stay. I also liked both of the Emmas — they were great techs too and really kind. The groups were good, and my favorite ones were the art groups. This place doesn’t deserve only 2 out of 5 stars — it actually helped me, and it didn’t traumatize me. My mom also likes that she can call and visit me every day. Overall, this is a good place if you need to to get stable.

A kid attempted suicide. They admitted the kid (as voluntary against DCF advice) and let them go a few days later. Kid attempted suicide again. They admitted the kid (as voluntary against DCF advice) and let them go a few days later. Kid attempted suicide again and is on the way back...the family locked down the entire house, spent all rent money on security measures, locked all medication in a safe. Somehow, no matter what DCF and family does, this kid keeps finding ways to hurt themself. This facility is not taking anything seriously and keeps pushing the kid out as fast as possible without any real help and without seeking long term placement for a child who is obviously suffering and begging for help.

My almost 14 year old son was there just shy of a week ago. My son suffers with anxiety and depression, a lot coming from how he is being treated at his father’s house. My son was diagnosed as high functioning autistic at age 3. My son who was on the kid side due to him not being of the age of 14, which I was happy with him on the kids side, but the doctor tried to blame his autistic diagnosis as reason he was having a meltdown which he was not instead of listening to the real reason and what was going on with my son. The day they discharge my son he was going back to his dad’s. They had to medicate him, and he kept banging his head against the wall and screaming, and I felt no one listened to him. How can you medicate someone and then discharge them an hour later. My son has been suicidal in the past and although he is not suicidal, but because of how he’s feeling, and no one is listening to him, he is vulnerable to having harm caused to him. I am really disappointed in this hospital. I really believe someone would listen to my son Instead of discharging him and blaming it on his autism diagnosis. My son clearly stated he did not want to be there, but he did not want to go to his dad‘s either my son was in a really hard place and for them not to listen to my son and try to find out the real reason to what was going on with him makes it hard for a kid to trust anyone, especially adults who are supposed to be there for them, I gave this two stars because there were a few staff that were nice when I was visiting my son and did seem to care about my son. There was one lady my last visit with my son. She kinda had a hard demeanor, and I know there have to be a balance, but I felt some compassion, especially to a child that was in the state that he was of not being able to be with his mother and had to go to a place that he’s so bad did not want to go with his father. I traveled every day for almost 5 days from Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola to see my son, not being listened to, heard or cared about as he should’ve been. I wanted to get the care he needed and now I’m trying to have to seek justice for him by other means this is not the place I would ever again with my son to go. No child should ever deal with abuse, especially by the hands of a parent.

Baptist Behavioral Health facility has a burnt out team. I wish the department heads at Baptist Behavioral would recognize their team needs help or reorganization.. This is not to throw this center under the bus because I know ya'll work with a lot of mental health folks that are their to get off the streets and they really do not want help. But there are mental health folks that want your help. Please figure out the difference and act accordingly.
