I have attended Best Self for 5 years, I love my doctor and I receive Suboxone treatment throught the clinic which has kept me off opiods for years!

*Today, 9/4/25 Marisol, I believe her name is, who works at the front office at bestself at 767 Delaware Avenue, absolutely saved my butt today!! I made a mistake and completely thought today was Wednesday and it is Thursday, lol. Whoops! She got Dr Siddiqui to get me in an appointment with telehealth today while I'm at work because I messed up and caused an issue where other people had to go out of the way to try to fix this for me. BIG GREAT THANKS to Marisol and a big shout out to my favorite therapist, Jessie, she is the absolute best and has helped me through so much! Thank you Jessie. Lastly I can't forget Seolar, she's been there helping me from the start as well and I've never felt better!! Truly I am my, best self! Thank you Bestself! I have been a patient at Bestself for almost a year now and I have never been treated so well. From the Dr.'s and nurses and my amazing Nurse practitioner to my just as amazing therapist. But what I really wanted to express is my thanks to the people handling all the calls and appointments and for people like those answering my calls, when I'm flustered and late calling to make an appointment, I can always count on the people answering the calls to be kind and fair and just extremely professional. My hats off to the entire Bestself team at 768 Delaware.

worst place to take as a concerned parent of a child in need. Hard to reach for appointments. long wait time. Did an over the phone intake and went for the appointment. I was expecting to have a place to talk about my concerns. Instead I was in the same space as my child using discretion to explain why we were there. I was denied counseling sessions because she said this might not be the best time for me because I have so much going on already. That's why I came here for help. The lady from what she was telling me was there part-time because she had a 10 week old at home. It's been a year now. I wished she had reported what I was saying to CPS to investigate she didn't even do that. another place was able to contact CPS. RED FLAGS please find a place where the personnel is not biased based on ethnicity and personal conflict.

Zero.. Terrible intake! If your child needs counseling try elsewhere. I called and made intake arrangements. I arrived when I was told. It is “1st come, 1st served”. The reception staff was rude. My kid is losing school time. My time is valuable and the two receptionists seemed to prefer I leave! Not what I was told on the phone. Meanwhile I’m seeing a dozen or so counselors arriving looking like they’re “Dr. Phil”. Best Self with “Worst Intake”. They don’t want my business. They wanted to play on their phones, and look at me like I have 4 heads. They don’t want to business. Wasted my morning! To MANAGEMENT - You need to FIRE ALL your Delaware intake people. If you want BUSINESS (clients = money), hire people who can work with people. MENTAL HEALTH IS IMPORTANT! Intake is the “face of the establishment”.

Intake they start with SI questioning and made me go into it the whole time and not finish the intake even though I didn't want or need to. So another 3 weeks until I finished intake and then another 3 weeks to get to the right counselor, everyone seemed to have a preconceived idea about me after the first 5 minutes. Front desk extremely rude act like you're entitled for wanting to get checked out. Psychiatrist talking really slow at me because I had a question. My EMDR therapist interrupted me to make minimizing/loaded "banter" comments about my very personal important things first session. Completely not taken seriously and a waste of my time. I know the whole system is exhausted, but absolutely, absolutely not. No wonder I was "triggered" and in my worst state the whole time, just making the cycle worse despite that being what they're here to help with.

ZERO stars. This place has really gone down hill since I was last here....winter 2024. It appears they have ALL new personnel. No one knows what the hell they are doing. I overheard a conversation between the intake person and front desk. They do not know what they are doing. My appointment was for 9am, confirmed by live phone call. They made me wait until 10am. It use to be you saw the intake person and nurse on the SAME day, so you got your meds when YOU NEED them. No more. Now they make you jump through hoops like all of the other places in Buffalo. These people appear to be very unqaulified to trust with YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. It appears ALL of the qualified people quit, my therapist and nurse practitioner are gone. It was not always this way at Best Self. This used to be a really GOOD AND TRUST worthy facility..........NO MORE.

Absolutely unresponsive. Terrible communication. Unable to get prescriptions correct. Everyone blames everybody else for every error. Terrible experience time after time.
