Southern Solano Alcohol Council (SSAC) – Detox Program (Co-Ed) in Vallejo, California, offers inpatient detox services for adults with alcohol or drug problems. Run by Bi-Bett, a nonprofit since 1969, the program provides 24-hour care in a safe setting. Staff help clients manage withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines and prepare them for the next step in their recovery. Move Forward With Continued Support The detox stay usually lasts 3 to 8 days, depending on a person’s needs. Once stable, clients may move into short-term residential care, outpatient treatment, or a sober living environment. SSAC also helps connect people to transitional housing, halfway houses, or other recovery-focused homes to support their long-term success. Recover Safely With 24-hour Care Each day includes regular health checks and support from trained staff. The setting is calm and structured to help clients feel safe during withdrawal. While this phase does not focus on therapy, it plays a key role in helping individuals stabilize and take the next step toward recovery.

This place is very nice you meet a lot of good people some people are off but the staff is friendly. Very good people. The boss and owners are very the best. Very good food shout out to Chef G. I’m gonna miss it. Hope I don’t have to go back. But if I do I hope can. Thank you. They go all out for you and really do care about you and your needs. Love you guys much did a lot for me. So if you are really trying to better yourself. That will be the place to go.

I've been to this place one time and I made the choice to leave after only one night. It was not any of the staffs fault! I really am ready this time but every time I call they put me on the bed list then tell me I am not on the bed list! Then tell me I've left there on several occasions! What do I have to do to go back there?

This detox is such an asset to Solano County. There are detoxes in other counties that are horrible places to be. Here everyone is caring and friendly. They feed you very well (shoutout to George’s cooking). Everyone has one chore and this manages to keep the facilities clean. Besides the one chore and one in-house AA/NA meeting per day you are free to be in your room asleep or in the day room watching movies, playing cards, reading, etc. You can even do laundry if needed. The people who come in for the H&I meetings are super nice. There is actually an excellent sober living attached to this place and you will meet some of these residents at the meetings. ThIs male-only sober living is an option down the line once you get some clean-time. It is nice for new detox clients to see that this is obtainable. Thank you to everyone who runs this place! You are awesome and do great work!
