Groups saved my life!

Groups is an awesome program for those in recovery. The counselors and other members are awesome, and like family. A place to share and listen and learn.

Very supportive and open.

This program promises help an additional community resources and just is not true. I've asked for help for awhile just getting a referral to a psychiatrist or help seeing a doctor since we are not allowed to call our doctors directly in this program. After waiting 3 requests and almost 2 weeks of waiting I recieve a text from Matt with a google search of psychiatrist in the area with instructions to call around and make an apointment 🤣 like I didn't try this 1st. If you just want a script I guess this is an alright option. I was just hoping for more then that

I would be nowhere without Groups Recover Together! I believe that all of my successes are a direct result of my Group through them!! It's been over two yrs now and I'm still going strong!! The members of my group are family to me now!! The love and support I get from them is why I'm successful today!! They honestly care about me and how I am. I truly believe I would not be here today without them! They all support me and are there to help me any way they can! Their advice is priceless both the staff and the group members themselves!! And the friendships I have made there will last a lifetime!! Thank you so very much Groups Recover Together!!

At first I thought the program was ridiculously tedious but they have a fantastic system in place and the frequency and accountability is extremely helpful and beneficial to stay on track. The groups themselves are very useful. Overall, it is a fantastic program and I highly recommend them. They are very compassionate, understanding, flexible and realistic about the recovery process. My only feedback now, is maybe a little more uniform accountability for all attendees but Groups does pretty good finding a fair balance.

I have never met such caring staff! Hands down best place to take a step towards Sober living and Changing how you live you live your life. Best Decision I've ever made!!

Although I was very nervous about get involved with group therapy. Because I'm very private about my addiction to opiates. Really the only people that I talked to about my addiction was my mother and my two daughters. Basically because I was very ashamed of myself for some reason I just didn't want to talk about it which is everybody's right. BUT.. I'm very pleased with the decision I made. I've been very pleased with the welcome, I received from everybody from... office to the doctors and counselors. I actually look forward to going every week. My group has a great counselor along with a great group of people. Truthfully it's actually fun. We have a few laughs, Along with getting answers to questions we all want to ask BUT don't and talking about different concerns and scenarios that we all can relate too. I'm very pleased everything about my experience! I would definitely recommend this to anybody I have a conversation with on this topic. So if you're reading this and thinking about it and you're on the fence I hope I made it easy for you to make the right decision. Take the first step to getting back to feeling normal.
