Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), formerly Community Substance Abuse Centers, specializes in treating substance use disorders and offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone to treat opioid addictions. They offer a welcoming and non-judgmental environment with tailored services for each individual’s unique needs. HCRC Hartford also offers: Individual, group, and family counseling Case management services Medical assessments and testing Coordinated pregnancy treatment Addiction and relapse prevention education Referrals to community resources Discharge planning and support Guest medication services Their treatment hours are Mon – Fri 6am – 2pm and their medication hours are Mon – Sat 6:30am – 12:30am Individuals may be able to get Veyo rides through the Department of Social Services or free bus passes.
