Healthy Futures was instrumental in my personal recovery from an eating disorder. I learned alongside other patients how eating disorders operate within group settings. I developed skills on how to cope with and heal from trauma through dialectical behavioral therapy. I also had the opportunity to relate to other people going through recovery as well. I received dietary services from Kimberly Guenther, and she was absolutely phenomenal. May she rest in peace! The somatic experiencing group by Ilene Smith was one of my favorite groups as it opened my eyes to how eating disorders are connected to trauma and how trauma becomes trapped in the body and needs to be physically released. I would say overall the staff is great, and you will have the support you need to recover as long as you are open and willing to put in the work. Healthy Futures hits the nail on the head when it comes to eating disorder recovery by providing well rounded care. Healing from an eating disorder recovery is one of the hardest things to do but worth it! It has helped me to live life more fully!

My experience with Healthy Futures was appalling and handled in an unprofessional way. I have coexisting diagnosis and they took me in as a patient and then a month and a few weeks later told me that they could no longer support me. They gave me various excuses at differing times to how they made their decision. So, honestly I never got a straight answer. I would never recommend this IOP program.

I was enrolled in the EEIOP program. The staff, both administrative and support, are one of a kind. Each of them has an excellence about them and I would be writing a novel if I went one by one. Something to understand about IOPs is that it takes time. Change isn’t going to happen over night and it’s ok to get frustrated when that happens. This program teaches the skills and provides structure and support to help create mindful and healthy habits and goals. It is clear that everyone here loves their job. I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while and it’s because of the things I’ve learned and applied from this program. The wait on the list was worth it and I’m so happy I decided to choose Healthy Futures to help me have a healthy future.

I went here for groups and individual therapy for an ED and depression about 3 years ago. I had a good experience overall. The staff was nice, caring, respectful. Jessica was a great group leader when i attended night groups. She was supportive, symapthic, and offered great insight to help me with things. She sometimes noticed things I personally didn't which helped. My therapist was kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. I felt cared for and encouraged by her. The dietcian has good information and advice. Something to note is they don't do meal plans that track exchanges which are more structured plans. She does more of a intuitive diet. But everyone is different though so I'm not saying this approach is not the best for everyone. I'd say try and see. I want to mention that about half way through, my insurance requested a few thousand dollar coinsurance or something from me and I got a call from HF saying they will cover that cost for me so I can continue going to them because I'm doing real well. I never had any facility do such a thing and I was amazed and so thankful, even to this day. I'm glad I got treatment here. It made me more mindful and helped me grow. I'd reccomend them to people struggling with an ED who are wanting to change.
