Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

While it helped temporarily, they have concerning practices. The so called “counselors” are smoking with the kids, parents are encouraged to be hands off and let natural consequences guide youth. There are other things going on that I will not list here but are problematic. Your child will start vaping and doing other things. I would recommend other 12 step and IOP programs.

The Insight Program was exactly what I needed. I came into the intensive outpatient program after being referred from an inpatient I attended in Georgia when I was 17 years old. I did 13 weeks of IOP and then stayed in their support group for 1 1/2 years. This program taught me how to be sober and live a sober lifestyle in a way that I could understand and relate to. I had been to 4 other treatment centers when I ended up here. I connected with this place the most because all of staff are in recovery and had gone through the program themselves. They were immediate examples that recovery was possible for me, and I knew they understood what I was going through because they had gone through it themselves. The meetings and functions gave me things to do in the evenings other than using substances and people my age who were sober to socialize with. This program gave me the environment and tools I needed to learn how be sober and take ownership over my life. I have 3 years sober next month and have fully transitioned into AA, but I will forever be grateful for my experience here and what I learned.

All I will say to the parents out here, desperate for help, please ask and think to yourself this simple question, "Why do all the counselors only have certification through the Meehan Institute?" Do your research, not just on surface level. Really look into the people you are going to give your money to to help your child. Look up "The Group" on YouTube. Multiple adults sharing their stories from this group and families too. Coming from a 20 year old that joined the group at 16, and left at 18. This program will not keep your child sober long-term, I don't know one person that has stayed sober, even the "graduates". Please be cautious, for your sake and for your child. I thought I needed this place, until I hit a breaking point of begging to be listened to as a young woman. I was physically abused by an ex boyfriend, in front of the entire group, but because the counselors weren't present, I wasn't believed. Even people that witnessed it first hand were not believed, and my ex boyfriend was still allowed to be around the group, even when his presence made not only myself, but other young women uncomfortable. The abuse was not reported, I was not listened to or kept safe. I am no longer angry, just sad for the families still involved in this cycle of this abuse.

If you are looking for an exceptional intensive outpatient program (IOP) for your teenager, this is it. After my daughter almost had a fatal overdose, I was desperate for help. I called over 40 locations in the Triangle, and no one provides a program like this one. I actually could not find any that would accept a child under the age of 18 - but that worked out great, because I found the Insight Program. Insight treats Teenagers and early 20s for alcohol and substance abuse. Miles, Morgan, Aurora, Sierra, Ashley have been and continue to be phenomenal counselors for my daughter. My daughter was welcomed immediately by the counselors and her peers and only felt love and acceptance for who she is. They gave her the tools to fight this disease, and she worked hard and used them. The counselors provide you with weekly feedback and are there to support you when you need help throughout your journey. You will be billed for the first few months for the day outpatient treatment - and even if your insurance covers it out of network, it is still well worth it because the step-down program is part of the IOP and continues for up to 2 years. During and after your child is done with IOP, they have meetings for the kids in the evenings during the week, sober events on the weekends, hangouts that are planned for after hours (which is the hardest downtime when you are trying to be sober), celebrations of milestones, and a graduation. It takes a village, and this village not only includes counselors, but a network of parents that won't judge you or your child and a strong peer support system. Your child will be surrounded with people that only want the best for them. There are weekly optional parent meetings that are led by the Senior Counselor, Miles. These meetings help you cut through the chaos and help you connect with parents you can call on when you just need someone to talk to that has been through this - because no one on the outside clearly understands more about what you are going through. I am so grateful to the Insight program, the counselors, the parents and the kids that I continue to meet. A year ago, I lived in fear that I would lose my child. Life has become normal again and my amazing daughter is 9 months sober and happy. I am so thankful that we are part of the Insight Program. It has changed all of our lives for the better.
