Practice Calm, Choose Growth Therapists use evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), applied behavioral analysis (ABA), and expressive arts to build emotional regulation, communication, and social skills. Kids engage in mindfulness, skill-building groups, therapeutic reading, and creative play. Individual, group, and family therapy help children process emotions and practice new behaviors. Services like mentoring, nursing support, and behavioral coaching ensure kids and their families get the tools they need to thrive at home, in school, and in the wider world. Feel Safe, Stay Grounded Children enjoy kid-friendly, calming spaces with sensory tools, art areas, and a sand tray room. Outdoor time includes pool activities, sports, and playgrounds, while field trips and nature walks foster real-world skill-building. Honestly a good place was there for a couple months back in 2017 the staff there were amazing my only complaint was some of the kids were bad influences and I start cussing because of them but it's okay hopefully everyone has an amazing experience and the staff take care of them like they did me

They have a great program for kids with special needs especially during the summer. It will be a great place to enroll your kids. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

I heard great stories about this youth group home. Also, the staff is caring and compassionate. Furthermore, this youth group home provides structure and routine in a safe, supportive manner. Trips into the community are suitable for desired age groups and developmentally appropriate for each age group. They handle autism and other developmental disabilities with their expertise in structure, routine and more. I knew a former employee many years ago and Susan Giusti told me how great the organization was to the children and the staff there. Moreover, being next door to a hospital makes it convenient for the staff because they are adults and if they have a medical emergency, Faulkner Hospital is right next door.

The crises that lead up to coming to any CBAT are painful but I thank the staff at the Italian home neuro developmental unit for their deep compassion and for saving our family and helping us build the pieces back together again. The staff truly care about the children in this unit. In a time of a lot of chaos and uncertainty, they brought peace and a plan. Thank you.
