Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

I've been with Jefferson center for over 15 years. With a short absence about 10 years ago when I went to Ohio. Jefferson center is one of the best mental health centers in the United States. The programs that they have along with the support and love from all of the providers and staff is absolutely amazing. My psychologist Dr Laura Smith has been a godsend for me. She is the most amazing doctor and person that I have ever met. ❤️

My son’s therapist is awesome. The people at the front desk are awesome. 5 stars for all of them. Billing & insurance are getting on my nerves. They fall in and out of network with our insurance. I spoke to billing and I’m told I overpaid. Then I’m told I had a credit. I come in again, and I’m told I still have some credit leftover from overpaying. I come in again and now I have a balance??? I thought I had a credit leftover???? Please get it together.

Update: Dr. Peterson is great!! Mental health is no joke. Chemical changes after 10 plus years using the same meds, and BAM, semi normal to absolute chaos after I was forced to change docs. I guess big pharma got to them and wanted us to be customers instead of patients, making us try so many different things, once again. No insurance, and they don't even know if it'll work. What happened to caring? Instead, a timer is set for 30 min apts, and you know they are looking at the timer because of the fact they'll say 'we got 'x' mins left...people without insurance jerked around instead of listening and understanding, they tell u and could care a less about it and tell you THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD FEEL..Sad what doc's have become now a days.

Update: Was reached out to by my provider. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait for meds. But in transitioning insurances, I called to update billing and per my usual experience, the front desk staff don't know anything and just want to transfer me. When I reached billing I was requested to email. If I had the capacity to email, I wouldn't have called. Every interaction with the admin staff feels like I'm responsible for jumping through hoops and have to carry the emotional weight, and adaptability of pivoting. It's exhausting and counter-intuitive. I'm deeply disappointed in my experience with this center. Even the response, and excuse that the privatized side works differently than Navigation, is proof in itself... I as the client, shouldn't have to follow up multiple times nor receive the run around because the staff don't know what they need to know to support in scheduling, replies, etc. ------- I started coming here when I was on Medicaid insurance through the collaborative care unit. The therapy support was compassionate but felt generic and insufficient for my needs, so I only used this service once. The med provider felt supportive and responsible and informative. however, since transferring to their Navigation team, scheduling and response time are atrocious, the communication to my questions are lackluster, and the ability to schedule is too far out to be any sort of support. I don't recommend it. It's not worth the inaccessibility if you don't have medicaid. I've emailed and left voicemails, and yet, I'm at risk for being without medication due to their non-responsivness. It's not okay.

The tax payers of Lakewood should seek to close this place, they seem willing to help woman, (boy they can get housing overnight) but thats about it. If your homeless and any type of guy, or minority group, forget it. Just drive down Colfax in Lakewood and look at all the screwballs on street. This is not working. NOTE: overnight Detox Center is a good division, they seem to care. Crisis Center side seems useless but Detox is a good service to provide.
