We were incredibly impressed with all aspects of the Lotus program. It has a wonderful, well-trained staff and provided a warm, supportive, and therapeutically effective environment for our daughter during her stay there. We feel it was the best possible program to meet her needs, and that she benefitted greatly from it. We would strongly recommend Lotus to any parents who have children struggling with the types of problems Lotus specializes in treating.

this was my first residential, and i don't have many complaints. they are many positives to this place, the schedule is well-made, and the staff are great. specifically, thank to you natalie, shelby, dre, rolanda, val, and michelle. all of them helped me get through a new and scary experience for me with minimal discomfort, and i'm very grateful for that. although there was petty drama (as there always will be among a group of teenage girls), the girls i was put with were mostly some of the kindest people i've met. i will say that i don't know if i agree with some of the placements that were made. people who show disturbing and physically aggressive behavior should not be placed with people who are cooperative and willing to accept treatment. i understand those people need just as much help, but it makes the experience for others much more stressful and this is a supposed to be a place for healing. additionally, meredith is a very odd woman and a strange kind of power-tripper. in my first week, she told me that i would be out in 30 days with good behavior, which is a blatant lie. i was here 74 days, i'm not sure if that amount of time was completely necessary, as after spending two months there all the groups repeat. i hit a plateau after that amount of time, and i get the impression that you're mainly kept that long to milk the insurance company as much as possible instead of because there's still progress to be made. but i will say that i made all the progress i believe i could make in a residential facility, and i'm grateful for this establishment's role in helping me become the person i am now.

Lotus Behavioral Health is a fantastic program for adolescent mental and substance abuse treatment. In 2021, we started collaboratively working with Michele Guzman, Director of Family Services, for Narcan training and Overdose Prevention Awareness. Our partnership has saved lives, helped numerous people enroll in treatment and mended broken families.

Lotus fue sin dudas la mejor elección. Nuestro hijo estaba autolesionandose cortando sus brazos y consumiendo caramelos de cannabis, entonces hicimos todo lo posible de solucionar todo en casa. Lo más difícil fue entender que debíamos buscar ayuda profesional. Fue muy duro llevarlo sabiendo que el tratamiento es tan largo y nos preocupaba mucho someterlo al uso de sedantes. En la primera entrevista con la psiquiatra nos dijeron que nuestro hijo sufría de depresión y, aunque no entendíamos los motivos, comenzamos el tratamiento. Todo el personal de Lotus es maravilloso, son super amables y cariñosos, especialmente Lesley, Melissa y Lourdes. Son gente hermosa, nos hicieron sentir mucha fe y optimismo. Antonio el terapista nos ayudó a buscar un camino para salir de la depresión e hizo que las terapias familiares fueran momentos de reencuentro y entendimiento con nuestro hijo. Antonio es el mejor, condujo las terapias en inglés y español, y nos hizo entender que la recuperación verdadera de nuestro hijo depende en gran parte del amor, la empatía y el entendimiento de toda la familia. Siempre trataron a nuestro hijo con cariño, él siempre se sintió comprendido y seguro en todo momento durante el día y la noche. Nuestro hijo terminó el programa el día 50 y desde que volvió a la casa todo ha salido bien. Aprendemos a unirnos como familia y vamos un día a la vez con mucha fe. Tenemos mucho que agradecerle a todos en Lotus…

There were A lot of good times everyone has their ups and downs, though lotus behavioral health helped me get sober and follow a better path when I was really struggling. You make family in there Dre new yorks best basketball player and to the kids who don’t really have father figures Dre is really the unit dad make sure everybody needs are met and he’s really fun to be around Meredith Oh Meredith, she’s the most accepting person you’ll ever meet. She really helped me come out of my shell when I was nervous about what was gonna happen with treatment and my family situation back home She really made it less stressful with her jokes in her Goofiness my SHEWWYYY ♥️♥️ Shelby is literally the most amazing person you’ll ever meet. She’s like that older sister that you never had. She’s really funny and she’ll get you in check when you need to be.NATAWEEEE Natalie is literally like a unit Aunt, she’s very helpful when you need her and she’s a really good trustworthy person. You can always talk to no matter what situation you’re in. Camille is super funny. I miss her so much. She’s like the most real person you’ll ever meet. Try not to type too much but there’s so many more people who helped me while I was out lotus.
