I had the pleasure of touring the facility after one of the staff reached out to us for resources. Tye staff goes above and beyond to take care of their girls. Such a beautiful facility.

★☆☆☆☆ ZERO STARS — Families Deserve Better Families entrust Mingus Mountain Behavioral Health with their children, but the facility’s lack of transparency and disregard for legal boundaries are alarming. Reports are incomplete, communication is inconsistent, and unauthorized parties are copied on sensitive information while the child’s attorney is left out. This facility needs oversight, training, and accountability. Parents — document everything, ask questions, and don’t assume you’re being told the full story..

It was a great for the most part except being dragged by my arm across the dorm by a staff who wasnt able to control his anger and didnt do the proper restraint and other staff had to intervene with him and pull him aside to calm him down I asked to press charges and they ignored me completely and never brought up it again

My daughter was 13 yrs old when she started going through depression, and started self-harming. We tried everything we could to get her help and had to send her for medical holds multiple times to keep her safe. Finally we found MMYTC, some of the reviews scared me, but those reviews were from the previous people that ran it. My daughter was there for 4 months, we had lots of ups and downs and it was an adjustment, that team truly helped my daughter. She has been home for 1 month and so far has been going great. They helped us diagnose her correctly and she was finally on the right medications. She even started school last week and so far things have been going well. They helped us with getting her the right intense outpatient therapy to help continue her healing. Im so thankful for this company and their staff! Kara was the best case manager! And michelle was my daughter’s therapist who truly helped! There are so many other staff members that helped her as well! There isn't enough help out there for mental health, and they truly helped my daughter.

Ive been to Mingus 2 times. Now both times I hear allegations against staff and I've personally seen some staff talk about our body's and how staff had held a girl down and later on her, I wrote a review and it got deleted so yea and if you look on the reviews you can tell it's almost all fake accounts and or staff that work there if u look carefully you can see real reviews from past kids.

This place is a JOKE! I've reported them to the Arizona department of health and human services. They quickly diagnosed my 17 yr old daughter with Bipolar II and blew off her neropsyc test for the insurance company for 6 months, never took her back to the dentist to remove her wisdom teeth and more and the dentist told them this from the beginning so they blew that off for 6 months. Originally we were told she'd be there at least 9 months and we would have plenty of time before her release to make a safety plan for a safe release but I got a call from my daughter that her like 3rd therapist we knew nothing about (he's not certified) saying they were kicking her out cause her insurance isn't covering anymore even though the insurance lady assured me that was false and they were waiting for her neropsyc evaluation results they wouldn't do and rushed her out giving us only a few days to get there to ge5 her from over 2,000 miles away and they were fully aware of the situation and agreed it was no problem but they rushed her out so fast that she didn't have any of her property like everything including her suit case and many things missing! They don't have any interest in helping these poor young ladies and only wanna cash the insurance money and rotate them in and out as fast as possible to get as much money as they can. Plus the inappropriate behavior and inappropriate relationships with these male "counselors" and these vonrable young ladies.

MMYTC is a truly amazing place. I have been on several tours and talked with many of the dedicated staff and each time I am blown away. They go far above and beyond what they're required to help these young women heal from trauma and grow into adulthood with healthy relationships and skills. The Horse Therapy program is incredible, but so is the Lifetime Commitment program, Empowerment Over Exploitation program and many other therapeutic and caring things this treatment center does as a matter of course. I hope other centers look at what they're doing and emulate it.

Absolutely yes, this place changed our lives with a 360 degree positive turn around. Anything is possible. Don't ever give up. These people truly do genuinely deeply care and support your mental, emotionally and physical well being. They are on the clock 24/7 for you no matter what time or day. Staff is ALL supportive, loving and caring people who want to help you succeed in all ways possible. They will work with you no matter how long it takes. Give them a try, and don't judge a book by its cover. Every case is different and will never be like yours. If you see something, say something. Don't hesitate to reach out for help please. You're worth it, and your needed, and most of all, your LOVED. This company is way worth it. TRUST ME ! I have experience here. Not me personally, but for my daughter who was. That doesn't mean I didn't go through all the treatment with out her, so yes I agree with this staff and company, and the therapist is hands down amazing!! No question about it. I was apart of this every step of the way with my daughter for 8 long hard months.This place litterally saved our lives legitimately!! Together we are stronger.
