Located near Anchorage, Alaska, the center is a residential treatment center for girls facing serious mental health challenges. It treats conditions like mood disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, and more. The program offers both short-term and long-term care in a structured, healing environment focused on personal growth and recovery. Guided Support for Emotional Growth The program uses proven therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EDMR), and biofeedback. Staff members work closely with each girl to build coping skills, improve emotional control, and support recovery. The treatment team includes therapists, nurses, and teachers who guide each girl with care and respect. Safe and Supportive Living Girls live in a peaceful, home-like setting with both private and shared spaces. They enjoy nutritious meals, participate in group activities, and take part in therapeutic recreation and school programs.
