Horrible phone etiquette and lack of client care. Communicating and resolving a clerical issue and release of my medical record was met with both negativity and unprofessional tone. You can hear the neck roll n street sass. Save your money and visit one of the many similar sites that don’t have the gross lack of client care.

A nurse came out to do an assessment and she was incompetent when it came to crisis interventions. My family member was exhibiting erratic and aggressive symptoms. She was patronizing when I was clearly getting anxious about the situation as she talked to me. She said the individual was not suicidal and she could not help by doing an assessment. Then she told me I was going to get charge for calling her to come out to do an assessment. She was only helpful when I called her out in front of the officer who accompanied her. She got defensive when I asked her if she was a social work or a nurse because I have friends who are social workers and I was confuse by her apathy and unhelpfulness. This facility needs to provide better training to their healthcare professionals.

They been doing great trying to help me with my PTSD , depression and suicidal thoughts. Great Dr and the hole team that work there.

The building has more than one office to help mentally affected persons. Upstairs is the entry point and Dr. Kalika is amazing. He really listens and really cares. Downstairs is the PACT team which you may qualify for if you've had more than two 51/50s in the last year. This is a more intense therapy schedule and higher monitoring to keep you out of the hospital and jail. Jeuen is a wonderful counselor and uses EMDR to help deal with trauma, which is a highly effective therapy. Dr. Cheung is kind and compassionate and does more than just write scripts. Overall, my experience at this particular OCHA has been much better than the Westminster location years ago. I feel cared for, listened to and like the therapy is actually making a difference in my life.
