My son, who is severely mentally ill, was referred to Claravida by State Hospital South after a three-month inpatient stay. He was scheduled for an initial appointment with case manager Sharon. Claravida had already received his medical records, which clearly outlined his diagnosis and the fact that he requires a specific antipsychotic that he metabolizes quickly and therefore must receive as a monthly injection. This was also communicated again over the phone when the appointment was scheduled. Despite having his records and knowing he urgently needed this medication, Claravida informed us they would not administer the injection at his initial visit and was told to go elsewhere for the medication for the month. On the morning of the initial visit, my son—due to the nature of his illness—went missing briefly, which would have made him about ten minutes late. I called to notify Claravida, but Sharon refused to speak with me and refused to see my son. They also claimed his intake paperwork was incomplete, even though everything had been filled out and signed except for one box that could not be checked until he had spoken with Claravida about their policies and procedures. Because of that single unchecked box, their system would not finalize the forms. When I asked for a supervisor to call me back, I received a call from someone else—not with help or solutions—but with a referral to move to a different medication management company entirely. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. My son desperately needed continuity of care, and instead we were met with rigidity, lack of compassion, and a refusal to timely provide the very services he was referred to receive. I cannot in good conscience recommend Claravida to anyone seeking reliable mental health medication management.

They have the beat services and I would highly recommend them.

Pay attention to the pattern of the previous 1 star reviews from customers (not paid employees), med mgmt. In fact if you try to speak up they actually encourage you to leave!!!!! Not the for mental health INDUSTRY, or any other industry keeps customers. Notice the lack of the word "patient ". This place is a prime example of a "for profit industry ', not health care.
