The staff are all individually amazing. The 12 step programme is great.. Love the infectious vibe. Especially Conrads sessions, he makes it so engaging. Darryl, very helpful. The place is amazing. I would suggest a couple of contract changes. Even procedural. Only due to the fact, I had to unfortunately self discharge, due to an unrelated medical condition left my staying any further, completely untenable. Be prepared. Ask questions. Overall, I recommend The Providence Projects. I'm not cured, never will be. But im free from mind altering substances today I plan on staying this way. ☺ Stick with the winners. 1 day at a time.. Listen to these people, and you will recover. Good luck. 🙂

The Provvie is OK but if you have any aversion to God or Higher Power then this isn’t the place for you. You will be told that there is no alternative and you will be made to feel “Obliged” to attend AA, NA etc and don’t be fooled by the “spiritual” spin. If you don’t believe then you don’t believe. But there are many secular options out there. I left there drunk and disappointed after 4 weeks. I found the path for me and I am proud to say that I am now 410 days sober. Clive

I attended both treatment and after-care treatment with the Providence Projects for a total of 4-5 months in 2014. This place saved my life. I had been to rehab treatment 3 times before this to no avail. Their approach worked perfectly for me at a time when I needed it most. I could not recommend more. I am 11 years sober now ever since the day I entered Providence, I will forever have the utmost gratitude for that place and the people that make the magic happen. Thank you, sincerely.

I'm not an addict, not sober, but I reached out to try and help a loved one. I was looking to book her into private rehab and was happy to pay but wanted to understand what she needed after lapsing from being 4 years sober. They put a lot of effort into the website about reaching out and how they can help loved ones. I must have caught them on a bad day. This is how that conversation went, with an admissions specialist. I real do hope the care is better than the initial service.

Life saving and life changing 4 week programme undertaken 17 months ago when I took my last drink. My Higher Power must have been at work well before I landed at the Providence Project , how else could I have got there ? I reached my bottom at age 61, it’s never too late to be blessed with a new life, a new beginning , a life full of love, contentment, serenity and above all a life with tools that help me live sober. I now have something to share, to help others. This is something I never dreamed of thinking likely or possible, for it was all about me in the past! Attending this rehab was truly the turning point of my life, and I can say with complete honesty that I would not be where I am today without the care, support, and guidance I received here. Walking through the doors, I was filled with fear, doubt, and hopelessness. I wasn’t sure if change was possible for me. But from the very first day, the staff made me feel seen, heard, and cared for in a way that I hadn’t experienced in a long time. The program here is not just about getting sober—it’s about truly healing. Every group session, individual therapy meeting, and workshop was thoughtfully designed to address not only the addiction itself, but also the underlying pain and patterns that fueled it. The therapists and counselors were incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, they were compassionate, patient, and invested in my recovery. They didn’t just treat me like “a patient”—they treated me like a human being who deserved a second chance. The environment itself was both peaceful and structured, creating the perfect balance of accountability and comfort. The sense of community with others who were walking the same path was invaluable. I gained lifelong friendships here, and for the first time in years, I felt like I wasn’t alone in my struggles. What sets this place apart is how they truly prepare you for life after treatment. They gave me real tools I could use in the outside world—coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and a stronger sense of self-worth. I left not just sober, but with a renewed sense of hope and purpose. To say I’m grateful would be an understatement. This place gave me my life back, and also gave my family back their loved one. Every day I move forward in recovery, I think of the foundation that was built here. If anyone out there is struggling and wondering if change is possible—I promise you, it is. I really hope people get better from here but the place is utter crap. It does not work and is very boring. You can get all the information there on YouTube. There is litterlly no counselling. They let people get away with things they say at the start if you do they will be gone. Lot of non paying customers so they are more inclined not to take serious. Lot of people there not to go jail Disgusting rip off place

I spent 3 months at 'The Provy' - the name it is affectionately known as by those who are lucky enough to get treatment there. I arrived broken, and not understanding what I suffer with. The staff helped me to discover what addiction looks like, and I immediately identified with what they had to say, how it works, the disease's effects and how the solution works. They armed me with the facts, and the suggestions in terms of action post treatment. I'm now coming up to 1 year clean and sober, working the program and have never been quite as content as I am today. Everyone is different, in my case I needed to be taken out of society for a period of time and placed in residential treatment. I don't say this lightly, I am convinced it saved my life. I cannot thank the staff enough, for their help, patience, support, kindness and care. It is their job and are paid to do it, however, the atmosphere I felt whilst I was at The Provy is best described as one which approaches that of family.
