Steps Recovery Center is a dual diagnosis treatment program specializing in the treatment of both mental health and substance use disorders including addiction, alcoholism, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Client’s level of care is determined after an initial assessment. Clients then move through a series of treatment levels that provide the best possible outcome for their unique situation. Steps Recovery utilizes evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) along with holistic therapies like art therapy, music therapy, and recreational therapy. They also aim to educate both the client and their family members about the disease of addiction by providing family counseling and weekly meetings.
