This outpatient eating disorder treatment center exists to be an inclusive place for adolescent girls, women, transgender women and non-binary individuals in Tennessee and Kentucky. They provide evidence-based care for the client in need of help and their families. Their day treatment program is intended for clients who are either stepping down from residential care or need flexible yet structured treatment. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for those who need more support than traditional outpatient. And the outpatient program is for clients who desire weekly support in the form of individual, family or group therapy. Program Details The day treatment program meets 5 days a week and includes group and individual therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluation, 2 meals per day and snacks, nutrition therapy, expressive therapies and psychoeducation. The IOP meets 3 times per week and includes nutrition consultation, group therapy, psychiatric services, 1 meal per day and psychoeducation. The clients at the Renfrew can expect to gain the support of others around them who are sharing their experience. Each client receives completely individualized treatment, with consideration for co-occurring disorders like trauma and substance use. All 3 outpatient programs can be virtual for clients’ convenience.
