This place changed my life! If I would have not gone here I probably would have not realized I would never wanna be in a place like this ever again. I left I’m working a great job making more money than I’ve ever made in my life and I’m insanely happy. Anybody who says they have a counseling license either fraudulently obtained or is lying. Compassion does not exist here. They basically work you for free labor. The amount of mental torture I went through here was insane.

In the beginning I was impressed hearing some of their story. But when I actually went to get admitted The two girls were so abrupt, wanted to get urine sample. The guy was very lame and timid which surprised me. I did not see any welcome or leadership in staff or managers. As a business to get sober, I felt like I was going to a confined place like prison where it lacks compassion and empathy. I decided not to go there at all. I told my parents I will not go there I don't care if they wanted me to go there I will not go. JSF

My father was court ordered to come to TROSA for rehab during his two year sentence on probation. He went through the entire process of being screened/interviewed and approved for it. We had to jump through several hoops in order to get everything done and submitted for them. Well, we find out apparently he's now being rejected because of his "poorly managed diabetes", which is crazy since he just went to get insulin and other medications prescribed to him, that they asked for mind you, and now he can't come due to his management, isn't getting off drugs and taking medication managing it? This place clearly is not for drug addicts who need it, but rather the ones that aren't going to give them a bad rep. Maybe we should learn to not approve people too quickly! And get all of the facts before ripping away an opportunity to change someone's life! And if diabetes is a deal breaker, maybe say that when you find out in the beginning of the process! Their actions are very irresponsible and cast them in a poor light, lets be better please. I hope this place has the day it deserves for the way they got my fathers hopes up just to crush them.

Been sober a little over 4 years now. I couldn't have done it without trosa. ❤️

Very disappointed at the staff and the way they operate, from my understanding most things are ran my the ones in the program. Took my son on a Monday. Could only have what he had on which was a new $70 pair of running shoes and a new $60 pair of jeans and shirt. After inquiring about the gym, Was told he would be in class for the first 30 days and gym privileges had to earned. ( Wouldn't walking/jogging/running/ exercise be a good thing for people trying to recover from substance abuse?, Which is what he did at home to "occupy time".) Was also told he would never be left alone. Got a call from him the following Friday at 3:00 a.m. saying he was on the Street! Wait, what? On the street, 6 hours from "home". Called and left several messages on the six hour trip with no collaboration from TROSA STAFF. Son stated they took him to the hospital and no one from TROSA was there when he was discharged. Hospital Security informed him that the hospital was not a homeless shelter and he needed to leave.....? When we finally arrived to get him, well he didn't have on what we left him in, he had on work clothes and work boots, I thought it was class the first 30 days, he said he had been working.... Upon arrival on Saturday, no Staff with TROSA was available to speak to us nor anyone to get his belongings that he had on upon arrival. When I finally did talk to Staff from TROSA, well he didn't even know he wasn't there anymore and was then informed they didn't offer the services he needed?? I guess they are not equipped to provide the psychological services that all recovering addicts need, thought this place was a rehab for addicts to become a recovery addict?? Also inquired about why no one was called that was listed on the emergency contact list with a response of it was not an emergency, well, he was taken to the emergency room? As of today I have left at least 5 msgs to have his thing mailed with no collaboration or package from TROSA, even offed to pay for the shipping?????

Great place wonderful people i stayed for 5 months and im still sober :) i now feel part of society and normal

If you really want to change your life, you must put your old life behind; this is the place to help with that and you can rebuild your life. It's a big commitment, but the people you will meet and bond with with help you through it.
