Just like the Vancouver VA, the Portland VA SUCKS! They do not care about Veterans.... PERIOD!

Wonderful experience with my contact at the VA. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars. The reason for the 3 stars it was very difficult finding the right dept and individual to speak with.

The Vancouver VA primary care clinic is $#!+ town! Not only did my doctor not call me when I had asked her to many many times regarding pain issues. But she didn't even listen to me at my appointment. She never looked up at me didn't even check me out. I was a number to her. A Fn paycheck. Not only did she make me feel like I was wasting her time she makes me not want to go back for any issue ever! To make things worse she never set up a follow up and didn't schedule any specialty clinics for my needs. So I'd stay away from old fish eyes np. Hook. As a side note old fish eyes nurse practitioner Hook died. Maybe karma I wonder if she had va heath care too? lol

The Vancouver VA has accountability issues. The staff get away with not doing their duties or provide legally required services. I am quadriplegic, completely paralyzed from the neck down. The VA is my health insurance. I require health care services that I quality for and have received 22 years of the 25 years of my disability. but the Vancouver VA ignore their duties. Since 1998 I have had my big toe amputated do severe injury, a fractured rib, a blister the size of my palm, and many more but nobody is held accountable for their failures. These failures occur daily with no attempt to prevent them from happening in the future.
