I absolutely have Everything positive to say about this facility, and Nothing negative to say. This program works if you work it, you get out what you put in. This program literally saved me from me. The staff is clinical team are honest and if you want to get down to the root of your problem tonfind the solution this is the place to do it. Facts will change your feelings, but your feelings won't change the facts! THATS FACTS THANK YOU MS. LORI AND STAFF FOR ALLOWING ME TO PARTICIPATE IN MY RECOVERY, AND SAVING MY LIFE!! I'M FOREVER INDEBTED🤞🏾 4/18/2025 IS MY FOREVER CLEAN DATE!🙏🏾

I would have given 0 stars if they let me. This place was hugely DISAPPOINTING. The staff is unprofessional. Rude and vengeful if you try to complain about anything. Especially the employees. As an advocate for people when it comes to facilities like this, I would NEVER recommend this facility to anybody. The rules are petty and used in a way to cause stress and strife. They refused meds to patients if they have personal issues with you. They intentionally set boundaries that are ridiculous and punishments that are petty and vindictive. Be very careful choosing your recovery options. Not everything is as it seems.

I graduated from the free house in August 2023 when I went in, I was coming from jail pregnant been using for 10 years. With the Compassion, love, and hope I received at the freedom house Louisville, Kentucky. I began to love myself again and gave birth to my son while there . I seen a community of people just like me that were now working there helping me , at that moment I knew it was possible ! I worked my program and graduated while having a baby in the NICU. Freedom house gave me so much hope . I seen women who had t had their kids in so long be reunited. They made sure I got to see my baby in the nicu while still in the program . The day I graduated I picked my son up from the nicu . I am now still sober to this day and now I am a recovery support tech and the freedom house . I love that I can relate to every woman there and pray that when they see me they see hope , just like I did when I came through those doors . I am forever grateful for freedom house/ volunteers of America !!! Amber pepper sobriety date 4/29/23

If you want recovery that’s REAL, relevant, useful, meaningful, and makes sense this is the best place to go. First they help you get your mentality to as stable as possible so that you can better absorb valuable information and have understanding of what is happening. They provide you with a schedule so that you know what you will be doing and establish a routine. The counselors there are either in recovery themselves or have lived very closely to an addict/alcoholic, they are genuine, caring, smart, kind, compassionate, patient, understanding and supportive. Their accountability measures make sense- before you hold someone accountable, you first spoke with them one on one, if they don’t agree/listen only then to you hold them accountable WITH GENUINE CARE AND CONCERN in group, if you hold someone accountable out of spite, jealousy, anger, etc you’ll get held accountable. Be honest with them, completely honest. They’ve heard it all so you won’t be judged. If you go there and think that they’re being hard on you, just trust them, they’re toughing you up they’re going to tell you how it is, they are real and they know what they’re doing. You may not see it at that moment, but please just give them the chance to show you how to live life on life’s terms, I promise you’ll eventually understand. Freedom House can give you the tools necessary to get your self back on track, stay clean, be sober, build confidence and have a meaningful life. God is good. If you’re reading this today God wants you to know that if you’ll get help, He’ll be with you. It’s no coincidence that you’re reading this. Go get help. You are loved. It’s not too late as long as you’re alive.

Brittany Morgan is very rude and nasty if I was there and had to be around her I probably would relapse! (I don’t do drugs) but if I did omg!!! VOA should really be careful who they have working with such vulnerable people! Smh!!! The program itself has saved my sisters life but that Brittany Morgan her mouth is very disrespectful!!!!
