Do not send your loved one here!! My fiancé and I went through a careful process when deciding where he would detox. We thought we found the right one until they took our$3500 cash and left him in a room to die. They told us originally it would be a 7-10 day process well that wasn’t the case they sent him home full blown in the middle of detox with no medication. He was very ready mentally and physically to finally get off his prescription medication. He wasn’t court ordered or on Medicare we are decent people who wanted the right help. Well now I am taking care of him in my home going through detox with a child at home that we didn’t want him to see in the first place . This place needs to be shut down . They haven’t heard the last of us . Our lawyer will be in touch for the lack of what they call medical detox. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door but once the doors shut you’re trapped in a world that is unkind and inhuman there.

6 years ago I walked into this place. Didn’t want, need, expect to get sober. I listened, I learned, and followed suggestions. I’m alive today because of what I learned here I have a life and I am father to a 3 yo who to this day has had her father here physically, emotionally, and in good spirit.

This place has saved my life. I have been to several treatment centers and NOT ONE of them explains the AA program, sets u up for success, and gets u involved in the experience of a life of sobriety the way Woodlake does. U start ur life in treatment there instead of trying to start it after. If u want success go to Woodlake

I highly recommend this treatment facility for anyone who wants to change. The counselors are highly dedicated and the techs are very kind. The outdoor setting was peaceful and beautiful. They concentrate on a full personality change there and it works if you do your part.

Woodlake changed my life. With the perfect combination of intensive therapy and Ethel’s unique education I finally realized what my problem was and left with the tools needed to change my life and circumstances.
