30 years ago, I could never have imagined a time when I could tell a DR that I am an opioid addict, without getting a letter in the mail telling me I'm no longer a patient. Never imagined a time when a Dr would help me get well when I'm "sick" & give me the opportunity & tools to stay well. Had I been given MAT 30 years ago, my life would be very different today. However, I have today & today I am clean, & by the grace of God, tomorrow I will be clean. Those of you that are my age or older, understand what a special gift MAT is. The CTC is by far the best place for me to help manage sobriety!
I am so very grateful to have everyone at the CTC as my biggest support system while navigating a clean and sober life! They have gone above & beyond what I have ever experienced before. When I was sick & couldn't get transportation to the office ( I live an hour away) CTC set up & paid for, an Uber to & from the office the very next morning. From the staff at reception, to nursing, the director, counselors, Dr.'s..., they all really care about giving everyone the tools & opportunity to get well & live a life free of opioid abuse. It's no act, they all show up there ready to help anyone who needs it. The passion the staff has to help fight this disease is visible.
The Doctors at the CTC are amazing at what they do. They are kind, caring, intelligent, capable & easy to talk to. They are easily accessible & I've never had a care or concern that wasn't addressed in a timely manner & I can be a real pain in the ass! I trust them completely to do what is best for me.
I travel an hour for my appointments at the CTC because it is a special place with a special staff that care about what they do. I could easily go to a clinic 15 min away or use an online provider..., but the CTC is setting me up for success in this battle that I will fight for the rest of my life. I can't say how thankful I am for them. I highly recommend them to anyone ready & willing to fight the good fight! I spent so many yrs alone in my fight to stay clean. I'm not alone anymore, I have the CTC & because of continuous sobriety, I have my family & friends again. God bless the staff at the CTC, they are very special people!✌️💞
