1st Step Behavioral Health is a licensed dual-diagnosis, long-term treatment center that specializes in substance use disorder. This program length is usually 30 days and offers a variety of therapies like CBT, DBT, EMDR, 12-Step, individual counseling, gestalt therapy, animal therapy, as well as gender-specific groups. 1st Step also provides educational courses that include relapse prevention, healthy communication, goal setting, and coping skills. Clients share the gender-specific units with one other person, each getting their own full-size bed.
