I had previously been a patient at Anew Era for quite some time and had success with them. I wasn't in a place where I could openly experiment and try to find a better medication that assisted with my ADHD, but that was fine. They obviously cared and did put in effort during refill request and check-in appointments. The person who provided me that service has since departed the practice.
I was not satisfied with the NP I was reassigned to, which is not, in itself, something worth giving a business a 1-star review. I could have just asked to see someone else, which I did plan to. However, I seemingly cannot get in contact with them over the phone. Many calls across 3 weeks, many left voicemails, zero times did the phone get answered, and zero times did they call me back.
As far as my experience, the entire business has been closed since the second week of December and they just forgot to tell anyone. This isn't the case, I'm sure, but that's functionally how it feels. I am now out of my ADHD medication and have been for the entire holiday period. It will be a greater pain to find a different psychiatrist that works well with me, but finding one that is willing to speak to me and arrange an appointment in the first place is more important.
So I walk away from my time as a patient of Anew Era pretty dissatisfied, and suffering from medication withdrawals. It feels like a pretty avoidable way to end things on their end, and I hope whatever in the world that is happening with their front desk gets resolved. But I'm not sticking around and waiting for them to do so.
1-star for just not even being able to provide the service they once did. Fix it.
