Brighter Start Health

Let just say I’ve been lied to multiple times by Kaitlyn Falk. Ok I started this program back in August for my DWI ! I was told I had to get 120 hours to finish my dwi part which didn’t include the iop part . Which the class is 80 an hour. Kaitlyn told me at the end of September to give clean urine and catch up on hours I’ll be good to finish . Well that changed once I shared in group about thinking about relapse which me sharing how I feel can cause me to not get hours?? So I called on three way with one of my case workers so I wouldn’t be the only one to keep hearing lies. Kaitlyn got on the phone and said ‘’ my name )you finish this week out and pass your test like you been doing since the beginning October I’ll send your hours and stuff into the state and I asked about how long will it take to get to state she said she could have it in by end of Monday. Now here comes January and I get a call saying I need more hours to complete my DWI hours due to a positive drug test. I already gotten my certificate in November. I called to talk to her and she spoke and hung up on me and had the doctor call me so she wouldn’t have to talk to me at all. It’s all wrong and she the person that runs this program but leading by example like this lies. So they will bill my insurance more money. This place just try to get you put on subs and what every substance to have another problem and when your done with the program cut you off. All this money people pay to be lied to NO one keeps their word but my therapist that’s it no one there can be trusted. The last true review that did go up they had it took down, like they will have this one done to but hopefully it will help someone out……… and let’s just say HIPPO is no such thing here ………. They will talk about your business to everyone.

Brighter Start Health is amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to complete my IOP! The staff were always so kind and helpful. Kenya and Nakia are passionate about helping their patients. They have become more like family.

As far as the staff, they’re great. My counselor was Carlton, and he was fantastic. He cares, he makes himself available when you need him, and his classes aren’t lame or hokey like a lot of people tend to treat addicts. However; their policy upon exit is atrocious. They provide Suboxone (if needed) for the duration of your time there. Once you exit the program, they simply cut you off which increases the likelihood that you’ll relapse. There was no weening process, just a hard cutoff.

I want to express my gratitude & appreciation to Brighter Start Health and especially to the incredible therapist “Corinne”, who changed my life & way of thinking and processing without addiction. I can confidently say I wouldn’t be where I am today without her kindness, and support and the support from the entire team at Brighter Start. Furthermore, I’d like to say I’ve not witnessed any drug activities in or around Brighter Start. Nor have I witnessed any of the staff allowing any drug selling or using onsite. Well, not since a few were removed and are no longer here. In addition, all my screens have been clean as expected and the system works as long as you are working the system and truly want to be clean. I love Brighter Start & everyone that I’ve been blessed to meet. With all that said, some of us are here to make changes for our self and a better way of life, versus some that have to be here because they have to be & benefit from the around the building sales they depend on. Thank you Brighter Start and more importantly thank you “Corinne” for helping me & showing me a new outlook on life and myself!!

I have been attending brighter start healthy for six weeks now. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Brighter start is the third rehab I’ve attended this year and has been by far the best. The level of care here is excellent. They see you as the individual you are and the treatment is customized to your needs. I found the other facilities I attended treat the patients with a cookie cutter mentality. I have been able to remain sober and start true healing under their care. Corrine my therapist/group leader is awesome. She is engaging and empathetic and I leave each session with new knowledge and. Insights to aid in my recovery. She treats everyone with kindness and respect. I would give brighter start 6 stars if that was possible. The place is first rate.

Truly had the best experience at Brighter Start and looked forward to going every day. Colton is the best, and made getting sober enjoyable for me. Every counselor here is amazing, and I felt comfortable talking to anyone and everyone there. Todd & Sarah helped me directly through peer support, and made my life a lot easier. So grateful to have gone through the program here!

My son has been a part of this program since August 2025. It has been the best program he has ever done. They offer so much support. They are actually a part of his life. I highly recommend Brighter Star.
