Horrible and condescending management.

Years ago, I was misdiagnosed, as many women are, with bipolar disorder. The amount of medication that David Tucker put me on caused long-term and irreversible damage. No teenager should take 5mg of valium FOUR times a day, EVERY single day in addition to 300mg of gabapentin THREE times a day. Due to the prolonged use, an estimated year, the patient (self) developed amnesia. Previously, he worked at an institution- one that I can tell you various horror stories about, and has since been shut down. Now that I am within the psychological field, I have realized how many ethical violations occurred at Connections.

Do not go here for psychiatric medicine - the office staff is spread too thin bc of the company, and they will mess up every. Single. Month. Do not use CWG and expect to ever have your meds on time. You can’t speak to a human in the meds department either.

My time here was well spent, the staff, from the front desk clerk to the therapists, were all extremely helpful and kind, my entire time there! I had such a lovely experience, I would absolutely recommend it if you are thinking about joining the program here, or aren't sure, go in and chat with them! Can't recommend them enough. I learned so many good coping skills and so much about how my brain works, and they took my insurance, and have a lot of payment options!

Dr. Ferris is am incredible clinician and I feel blessed to work with her!

original review from January 2025-I wish I could give this place more stars due to Irma who was my therapist at the time. She was great at listening to my concerns and to help me address them. So this review is not a reflection of her whatsoever. This is for the billing company. Since I didn't get billed immediately I had a lingering balance of $80, so I asked for my account to be audited, and in the meantime I audited it myself. I agreed with this balance so I paid it. Come 6 months later I'm getting another statement for $275. I once again ask for a detail of these charges, and what they pertain to. I was informed they didn't apply my EAP code so they would revoke these charges. It's now the end of January 2025 and I'm getting another statement of $200. Please avoid this place. They obviously care more about stressing you out than them actually paying attention to what they are doing with their finances. June 2025- their billing manager calls me after I posted a bad comment on Facebook on their posts. She said she would get it taken care of. Even has the audacity to ask me to leave a good review because she resolved my issue. (I of course did not because why would I after all this mess) September 2025- I get again a bill stating I owe! So I call my insurance to see what is happening They tell me to get them to call a specific number with a code. I relay this information back to CW. October 2025- I get a bill AGAIN! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Since there is no option for zero stars, one will have to suffice. I strongly urge caution before seeking help here. The focus appeared to be more on payment than on providing meaningful support. The lead therapist demonstrated unprofessional behavior, including leaving a threatening voicemail after our loved one attended a single four-hour group session and chose not to return. Mental health treatment is already a difficult and vulnerable process, and experiences like this make it even harder for families seeking help. We were left scrambling to find care elsewhere while being charged $2,250 for a four-hour session that consisted primarily of walking around a commercial building and minimal group therapy, with little to no individualized attention. It is extremely disappointing to encounter a company that seems to prioritize profit over genuinely helping those in need.

I have been with CWG for years and seeing the downfall has been heartbreaking. If it continues down this path I can’t imagine they will continue to exist. This isn’t the fault of the staff, this is purely the fault of the higher ups making the choices. Over the years they have lost some of the most talented and passionate individuals (staff and patients) due to their unrealistic expectations. Please do better because Your patients deserve better. This is a practice that revolves around mental health which is something so delicate where the hands of greed don’t deserve to be. Your staff is tired and under respected due to the corporatization of this mental health practice. When I first came here it felt like a small community helping each other and now it’s simply uncomfortable. I am thankful to have had that experience previously because honestly those people saved my life, but now I worry that if myself or others find themselves in the same position, would they be getting the same quality time and treatment? Please forgo the corporate greed, and unrealistic expectations, and get back to supporting your community and your wonderful staff. Get back to your roots when you first opened your doors.
