It was HORRIBLE.. I checked myself in to help me detox from alcohol. I was ready to leave after three days. They refused to release me until I’d been in 7 days. 90% of. The patients had been court ordered. Most were in there for severe drug use or psychiatric reasons. Fight amongs the patients broke out daily. It was noisy and scary.. The place was dirty, there was black mold in the shower and bathroom. Black mold on the public laundry room.. I would never recommend this place for anyone..

Columbus Springs Dublin is NOT a place you should go unless you’d like more trauma. They will lose your items(they lost my shoes, a family picture and threw away two bottles of my meds). They will tell you to contact them but they will absolutely not respond when you try. The entire staff is very rude and should have no business working at a facility that is dealing with people who are having the most challenging moments of their lives. The food is the worst you will ever taste. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Balic has no business being in psychiatry. She will throw a solution at you but don’t you dare ask questions or go over her five minute time limit per patient. The experience was absolutely terrible and I cannot reiterate enough to people that if you’re in crisis, go somewhere else. This is essentially an overpriced babysitting operation that pumps you full of meds and sends you on your way(with a hefty bill!).

They lost or threw away my $200 retainers and refuse to pick up the phone. Would not tell me when multiple people tried to contact me, and only gave my mother a call back when she got other people involved. Did not get treated like a human being and was held against my will and gaslit my whole stay. Would never hope on anyone that they end up trapped against their will in this place.

The staff in the Willows unit who worked any day on or between 3/6/26-3/12/26 are amazing people. They deserve to be payed more than they do for the crap they go through. I'd love to name names but wouldn't want to forget anyone. However, I voluntarily signed myself into this hospital and only talked to a therapist/social worked because I knocked on their door. This was 5 days after I walked in and 2 days after signing an AMA. It appeared that only those who received a pink slip were a priority. In addition, the paperwork says you're supposed to meet with a therapist/social worker twice a week. I do not blame the staffing for this; I blame corporate. They are extremely understaffed, underpayed, and under appreciated. My first three days were very helpful after that it did more harm than good. Corporate can not get upset at their staff for not having things done if they are not allowing for proper staffing. In addition, some staff need to learn how to treat each other with respect and learn how to give constructive critisim. I do not normally write reviews however I'm hoping this will help provide insight on how the company can treat their staff better. Those who are hired are amazing, but they need more help. I hope the Willows unit sees this and knows they're doing a great job with the little they are given to succeed.

I have to say that I read these reviews and I felt extremely afraid for my Loved one, but after visiting my Loved one, I don't feel that way, they ( the staff ) were extremely kind, patient and went out of there way to help me. and my friend. the bathrooms were clean, no mold, no dirt, my loved one had his clothes and was being taken care of, this is a hard time for all involved. I know that some times the things that are best for us at a time when things are Not as they should be can be hard to deal with, maybe even feel like neglect, but are really what is best. That can be a hard pill to swallow. I have reconsidered my initial opinion based on the experience that I Had... and does not reflect the experience of anyone else. So if you have a Loved one there, let the system work! Pray and Let God do what he does best! Love

This place did not do a good job with me. I was pink slipped after attempting to take my own life. One of the first prescriptions they put me on did not help with my anxiety. It was a mood stabilizer. Both times I was in there they had someone who was violent in our wings. One person through a coffee pot across the room. Another threw a cell phone. I was thankful to have had good roommates who didn’t keep me up all night. One of the medications they placed me on caused ear ringing. This place was not a good facility.

Before I start I have light depression and ADHD. They are working with the hospital down the road. I was essentially kidnapped or bakers acted. Tortured at the hospital then locked up here for 3 days under no justification because I reported a dead body and a cop with a nose ring fear pushed me into checking in. I was met by a blonde butch lady with cropped like a bad Cleopatra haircut and bun. They left me naked in a gown in a waiting room where I was then essentially forced into signing to check in or else I was going to be arrested for nothing more then reporting on a skeleton found. This same lady was spotted by me and my roommate in mocksville North Carolina driving through my neighborhood with another familiar person. Almost as if they were checking on me for insurance claim because they know they hurt me. I was absolutely refunded the ability to leave for 72 hours and I just want you to know I know I'm heartbroken and I can't stand you enjoying torturing people -kota

It took over 2 hours to discharge a patient because of printer issues! Making an already stressful situation worse! At 8k a stay I would expect the technology to be functioning!
