CT Renaissance’s Waterbury West location offers a 90 day residential treatment program for adult men seeking recovery from substance use. The program helps men identify triggers and teaches relapse prevention skills. Treatment consists of individual, group, and family counseling, psycho-educational programming, life skills development, and self-help meetings. At the end of the program, staff will assist individuals with discharge planning and provide referrals to other organizations as needed. Staff will also assist individuals in obtaining housing and employment. The goal of the program is to help each individual take the first step toward achieving sobriety and lifelong recovery.

If there were a way to give a negative review, I would give on, but " 1 star" is at low as it goes.

It Works If You Want To Stay Clean. I Was There In 2018. March To June. I Had No Cigarettes, And Other Clients Looked Out For Me When I Was In The Dumps. I Had A 2 Year Cap. Completed It In 84/90 Days. The Second Time I Was There In 2025. Again, It Works If You Really Want It! The First Time I Relapsed In New Haven, No Game Plan, No Network...Set Myself Up For Failure. (After I.O.P. & Court Was Over.) The Second Time Was Better-Came With Money, Cigarettes, My Own Clothes. (First Was A J.R.I.) Food Was Much Better And Waaay More Of It The First Time. That And The Clinicians Were Always More Prepared, (With Experience.) The First Time.

Staff was not helpful at all!!! Food was served cold and uncooked in one instance! I completed the program but was released with no cirtificate because my counselor had not filled out paperwork! Staff is terrible but there are exceptions a few. Good people! If u can DO Not Go There
