Enterhealth Ranch

1 star earned for morning groups with Bob, and the other star if for the tech(s) Tony (& Kevin) who made my experience bearable. The therapist I had at Enterhealth, named Rene (male), was extremely unprofessional and I genuinely felt he and I made little to no progress or connection during our sessions. During the last 2 weeks of my stay at Enterhealth there were multiple thefts that occurred. Unfortunately a few clients that had some of their personal belongings (& money) stolen from them. This was very upsetting because new clients had just arrived and none of the Enterhealth staff or clients could figure out who was doing the stealing. GET THIS, A week before the thefts occurred there was an "incident" where I took 2 Keurig Cups from the conference center room and used them to make myself coffee after dinner time. (because they shut the caffeinated coffee machine off at 11am) My therapist RENE found out that I took 2 K-Cups and because of that he made the choice to TAKE AWAY MY FAMILY OUTING AS PUNISHMENT. My parents (+ my brother&Sister) had flown out to Texas from the midwest to visit & take me out on a day pass (to see where Kennedy was shot). And the day before my family got there he told me (& my parents) that I would not be able to leave the Enterhealth property during my families visit. My family came to visit and we hung out on the property, but I felt like Rene was trying to make it seem like I needed "more time" in treatment so my family would extended my stay length. Bottom line is 3 days before my exit date, I woke up to a strict room search and one of the staff members told me to go up to the big conference center. He told me everyone was up there waiting for me, I got up there and THE ENTIRE STAFF & ALL THE CLIENTS (30 people) ALL WENT AROUND THE GROUP EXPLAINING THEIR FEELINGS. Almost everyone spoke, and half the people in the group including staff either implied that I was the person stealing, OR they said something along the lines of "you might be a closet kleptomaniac in denial" My therapist Rene had set up the group to address the rumors being discussed in morning group about me. Was extremely upset and angered by their FALSE accusation, staff verified my room was clean, people started apologizing. It was all in all a horrible experience, I honestly felt traumatized from the way that I was falsely accused & blamed. I had no idea anyone even thought of my as a thief, then to have your peers in early recovery (& your therapist!) relentlessly insinuate that I have been stealing people $ and stuff. All because of what evidence? Literally Idiots, and i would NEVER PAY TO HAVE (the guy) RENE AS A THERAPIST. Ive seen them put clients on meds after the client threatens to leave. One person was a NON-OPIOID ADDICT with over a month clean and he/she started demanding Suboxone/threatening to leave. Clearly med seeking behavior to all that were there , But they gave him the Suboxone anyways and he was nodding off & spilling his coffee everywhere for a week or so until they took him off it (& only after client complaints).

I was at Enterhealth last year — and I’m proud to say I’m one year sober! Thanks to Enterhealth I got my life back. If you’re struggling and need help this is the place to go. Lenny was awesome. Tammy was great. The nurses were awesome, and the techs were just as incredible — everyone always kind, nd there when you needed them. And the food? Top notch. Way better than I expected. Everything about the place showed they they truly care. Mr. Raj has really turned that place around. You can feel it — the environment, the staff, the program — it all works together to actually help people heal. This is the best placeto get help!

I’m writing this review as it has been 6 months and 1 day since a small group of family and indirect supporters led me to Enterhealth after months of isolating with Tito’s was followed by years of binge drinking and drinking throughout the day, to get through the day. Everyone’s journey in sobriety is different and people take away different things from recovery. This is my 2nd time to go to treatment and it has been completely different than my 1st time. I feel like Enterhealth not only “got me sober”, but they helped me battle this by addressing my physical health, my strengths and weaknesses as well as my mental health. I also feel like I was given the freedom to be in charge of my own recovery plan. Physical and mental health were important to me and they allowed me to dive into that. I’m also not religious so I was much more receptive to their curriculum on the disease instead of just praying it into remission with AA. (Although they do offer AA based groups). Other things such as the community, the food, the privacy of your own cabin, the routine and the amenities are all major perks that help you focus on your treatment. I will say, this place is a major investment. I would be wary if your loved one is resistant to change. I feel like Enterhealth is a huge gift. I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to embrace a better life and is ready to work for it. 💜

My partner admitted himself when I was 17 weeks pregnant with his child for mental health reasons. He was there for 6 weeks during his time there he left me, kicked me out of our home, and wants nothing to do with me or to take any accountability or repair any damage that has been done in our relationship bc of his choices. I have had to go through my pregnancy alone without the support of my partner because of this place. He does this all in the new found “self respect” he says he gained in this place. This has been devastating and severely traumatizing to have to go through, I can’t even imagine the stress it has caused on our baby. Our daughter is going to grow up in a broken home now after he went in there. For a place to enable this kind of behavior from a man should be illegal. Believe the other reviews when they say the person came out worse they don’t lie.

They pumped me with pills, very little talk with AA. Would recommend elsewhere

My experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff and professional therapists treated me with respect, warmth and kindness. Laura Auldridge was especially instrumental in my healing with her knowledge, compassion and humanity. I firmly believe any individual in their care that “puts in the work” will be justly rewarded in their experience. I would highly recommend Enterhealth Ranch.

I could not recommend Enterhealth Ranch more. The entire staff were professional and courteous. They go above and beyond to help you. You can tell they genuinely care about your sobriety. Autumn, in particular, showed compassion as she navigated me throughout my stay. Always answering my questions or concerns promptly. Every therapist I met was phenomenal. The property is beautiful and peaceful. You have your own room and can have cellphone- which is a plus. The food was great and nutritious. Kitchen staff were lovely. Everyone knows your name and asks how you are. Attend all the classes and get to know the other clients. I appreciated and learned so much from them. Enterhealth’s unique, challenging curriculum taught me a lot about the disease of addiction and my part in it. How to challenge my thoughts and beliefs. I look forward to attending monthly Alumni events. I’m also continuing my aftercare with their IOP program in Dallas. Could not thank Enterhealth enough for my jumpstart on this sobriety journey.

About a beloved Family member with a 68-day stay at EHR. Praise God, still now 2.5 years post-care at EHR, they are still sober and improving in so many other areas of life as well. EHR’s Professional therapist, counselor and care coordinator, Ms Kim Benson, was absolutely the answer to our family prayer. IMHO, having long term successful programmatic outcomes is not about the company or the branding or name, but instead the program succeeds with truly helping people with addiction when they have and properly utilize people like Kim who invest themselves fully and personally in resident patient care, with wise professionalism, attending also to spiritual dynamics, and always garnered with love and genuine compassion. Kim was their secret sauce.
