Embark benton is a fantastic place to send your struggling teen to everyone there is at the top of their game from the executive director down to the maintenance team. From clinical to admissions and everywhere in between they really care and take the time to do everything they can to assist in your journey

We had a fantastic experience, at Embark. It was the most difficult decision of our entire lives to drop off our son and trust the people at Embark and for our teen son to be in Tennessee five states away, but those people love well. They challenge your child and they empower your kids to do great things and take ownership with their lives. No more victim mentality with our teen son. They helped my son see his need to take some leadership and ownership in his own life. He sees how he was wrong and he also wants to do things better and different now that we are back in the home. It’s not perfect and there are bumps along the road; however, My kid learned compassion and self compassion on a new level! His therapist Ian Deville was very skilled and challenged him in a good way. His He needed to be held accountable and he needed real help with emotional regulation and other life skills. There was significant growth in 90 days that I wasn’t sure was quite possible! Significant things were achieved. Maturity was improved dramatically! We were both very pleased with the growth our kid achieved. He learned leadership skills, compassion for others in a new way… and he learned to be a part of a team. He learned to take care of his own stuff and to be organized. He learned that you have a Hope in the future and it might look different than when he thought it would be, but that God has significant plans for his life. All the people in Embark love well they shed light and hold a mirror up to things that are ugly, but do it in a loving way. most importantly and more importantly they help these kids see the great potential that they have that they have opportunities for growth if they have a hope in the future that deep down behind the pain and the negative behavior, there’s a kid crying out for help wanting to be loved seeking to know that there’s a future and a hope and great things on the other side of this pain, if you’re considering a residential treatment center for your child, I would highly recommend Embark. We had no idea what we were getting into. It was the only place that took our insurance, but it was a gift from God. This place is a special place. The nursing staff are kind hearted and giving and loving, nurse Brooke was my favorite!!! and they love your kids like their very own …from the the front desk Staff to the amazing the psychiatrist Dr. Simms as a skilled technician she gets the meds just right this place is a GEM. It’s like a little slice of heaven in a Tennessee mountains that helps your kid and nurses them back back to health and well-being. I can’t recommend it high enough

We explored numerous programs that ultimately fell short in providing the support my son and our family needed. I wish I had discovered Embark sooner, but I believe that our journey through various avenues led us to find this gem, and for that, I am profoundly grateful. Many programs promise the world but fail to deliver the essential communication, connection, and support we all require. Our son completed the program in just 90 days and is finally home with us, transformed for the better. The staff at Embark truly cares about making a difference. The exceptional leadership fosters a positive culture that is truly inspiring. My son expressed that this was the best place he was sent to and that it made a lasting impact on him. I love that family visits are encouraged once a month, as healing is a journey best traveled together. If needed, I would gladly send my son back to Embark, but for now, we are on a wonderful path forward. Thank you for making such a profound difference in our lives!

Overwhelming.....that's how we all feel when one of our children is struggling with mental health or any other associated/related issues. We had no Idea where to go or who to turn to for help. Parents are very much on their own in this realm when things go really sideways. What we found at Embark (Benton) were caring professionals who are experienced, very knowledgeable, and believe in what they are doing. They genuinely want to help every kid that walks through that front door. Not everyone that goes through an in-patient facility will walk out cured or even better off, but here they have a real fighting chance to be successful. We had ups, downs, days that were overwhelming....but the staff at Embark worked hard to help us and our son make it through. I thank God for everyone there who helped us, and I pray the Lord helps you find healing. We would definitely recommend Embark in Benton to anyone facing an in-patient situation for their son.

Making the decision to send our son somewhere was by far the hardest one we've ever had to make. I am SO happy we chose Embark in TN. Every single staff member from the minute you walk in makes you feel like you are included in all decision making. Therapists, doctors/nurses, admissions were all super responsive any time we had a question or concern. Our son spent 3 months there and while we still have a lot to work on, the changes we have seen are huge. Dr. Simms was amazing and got him regulated on meds that he was comfortable taking. His therapist, Brooke, was absolutely WONDERFUL and helped the whole family learn how to communicate again. We did family therapy once a week, had 2 calls weekly and got to to go visit once a month. While I know he didn't love being there, he did say he really thinks it helped reset his mind and helped with the issues he was having. Its just great to have our son back! I would 100% recommend this facility.

Embark has been such a great experience for both my 17 year old son and me and his father. It’s intense as it is a 3 month long residential program, but I feel like everyone at Embark really cares about making things better for young boys that are neurodivergent and have behavioral issues. The staff works really hard to help the boys develop better coping skills so that they can be successful in life. The program also helps parents by providing tools for parenting children that are atypical. I can say that our son’s counselor Kevin truly made a difference in all of our lives. Our son would agree too. The weekly parent support group was helpful in that parents can connect and realize that you’re not alone. The other staff, psychiatrist, nurses are all very communicative and committed to what they do. We as a family are in a much better place now because of Embark.

Our soon attended Embark for 90 days. During his stay he learned many skills to help him better navigate day to day life. He also learned a lot about himself, allowing him to communicate effectively about his feelings and what maybe upsetting him. It was a process - but everyone came out a better person on the other end. Great facility and a super great staff.

Life changing team and program for our entire family. I cannot recommend Embark more, I’d give them 7 stars out of 5.
