I came across this company while considering treatment options years after I attended their program & discovered that they had managed to have my review removed. I worked through the IOP and PHP program at this business, and I was expelled after I came in - with a clean urine test & a 0% breathalyzer result - and tried to speak in group about a lapse that occurred after a parent's death. If Sam still works as a PHP LCDC at this location, I hope he ponders the medical ethics and viability of running a group session that ended in a round-circle of every attendee telling me how they felt about my lapse in a punitive fashion before expelling me. I hope he enjoys the thousands of dollars he earned by coasting through group while making the attendees do the work. I spent ~3 months here, and met a therapist twice. The admin staff huddled in the (their words) war room next to the IOP conference room and loudly discussed confidential patient matters, often in the form of derogative comments and jokes about our personal lives. The recovery coaches were a joke and barely mustered invites to an AA meeting (despite being told I didn't want to be involved in an Anonymous program due to SA and religious trauma) while vaping indoors. I'm happy to see that they have a 4.9* rating these days. Hopefully that's indicative of a change in how they run their for-profit recovery business. I wish anyone reading this an easy recovery - breaking from addiction is rough, and it's a lot easier if your vulnerability isn't exposed to practitioners that prey on your weakness to make a cash grab. There are better programs out there, and maybe Lighthouse will learn to do better.

Our experience with Light House has been extraordinary. The staff are caring and communicative, the therapy team is excellent, and it is clear that for these folks, working at LH is truly a calling. Our son has grown and matured, gaining the confidence to pursue his goals. This is such a supportive community, and we are very grateful that he has become a part of it. I completed a full stay at the lighthouse sober living as well as went through their PHP, IOP, and SOP programs they offer. Lighthouse didn’t just get me back on my feet, but they laid the necessary tools to live a happy, sober, and independent life in front of me and showed me in depth how to use each and every one of them. I will forever be in debt to what this program gave me during the most formative year of my life. Lighthouse is one of very few places where every staff member truly just wants to see you succeed. Navigating this past year with my child in recovery was incredibly challenging, especially with him being 12 hours away from home. From the very beginning, the team at Lighthouse Recovery made me feel supported and informed every step of the way. I could tell that they truly cared for my child, not just as a client, but as a person. Bryce, my son’s case manager, was always timely and compassionate in his communication, answering my questions and keeping me updated. Frankie, the operations manager, took the time to help me understand addiction and what my child was going through. Brooke, the Chief Clinical Officer, also offered guidance and support. I had to trust complete strangers with my child, and I can honestly say that Lighthouse became an extension of our family. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made an overwhelming situation feel manageable, and I am deeply grateful for everything they did to support both my child and our family.

If you want to quit and haven’t been able to, this place can help. I was unable to stay sober until I took the sober living approach, and Lighthouse is the best option available. The team is excellent and you will get results if you’re committed. My life looks completely different now, and I have a fresh start with hope that my best years are ahead of me; Lighthouse was a key part of me getting there.

As the parent of a loved one who is addicted to alcohol, I highly commend the services provided to him and to our whole family while he was a resident at Lighthouse Recovery in Dallas, Texas. Lighthouse provided a supportive environment and a treatment regimen that was individually tailored to his needs, his strengths, and his weaknesses. Even when he suffered setbacks, the staff continued to provide structure, support, and encouragement to succeed. During his time at Lighthouse, his case manager, Michael, provided regular updates on his progress in weekly phone calls to us family members, and he was always accessible when we had questions or concerns. Even when my son chose to leave Lighthouse so that he could resume drinking, the Lighthouse staff stayed in touch with him every day to make sure he was safe, and they eventually were able to persuade him to enter a long-term rehab program.

My time at lighthouse was phenomenal, the staff were really great and they accommodated all my needs. The clinical was amazing, and the community really helped me during my time there. I was able to graduate high school thanks to them and i would recommend lighthouse to anyone who is looking for a sober living

Zero accountability for the staff. Its all a money game to them. Run away to somewhere else.
