Horrible experience. I was asked to leave for being honest about the program and speaking about my experience with other clients. The groups are lead by techs and interns and not actual Thearpist’s. The Thearpists thrive on threats. I was threatened and told before a phone call with my mother to not speak about the program otherwise they would hang up our FaceTime call on thanksgiving. I was denied medication during a panic attack, that I rightfully should have had and was left alone for over 15 minutes during said panic attack. Many other things occurred during my stay- but ultimately they decided to get rid of me because my voice became to overwhelming for them to handle. I guess advocation isn’t appreciated in recovery. I transferred to The Annex which has been absolutely amazing for Mental Health treatment.

This place should be a last resort option for someone whose child is struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Once you sign the papers, it is nearly impossible to change your mind and go back on your word. The treatment team thrives off money, power, and control. A majority of my time spent there I was convinced the staff just enjoyed having control over their vulnerable clients. They have a military method approach to their treatment style. Very, very strict. Beware.

As a parent, watching my child struggle with substance abuse is the most difficult experience I have ever faced. When we found Momentum Recovery, I felt a glimmer of hope that I had not felt in a long time. From the moment my son walked through the doors of Momentum Recovery, I was greeted with warmth, compassion, and understanding. The staff members were not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely caring and committed to helping my son and our family heal. The treatment program at Momentum Recovery is comprehensive and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. They address not only the physical aspects of addiction but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. The staff at Momentum Recovery went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition back into everyday life for my son. They provided resources for continuing care, vocational support, and organized family therapy sessions to help our family heal and rebuild. They equipped my son with all the necessary tools for success, but the decision to apply these tools is ultimately his to make. I am incredibly grateful for the life-changing experience my child had at Momentum Recovery. The staff, facilities, and programs were truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to any parent or loved one seeking recovery for their loved one. In love with this program. I didn’t want to be sober when I first came to momentum 2 years ago, but the support and love I received was overwhelming and helped to keep me sober. I’ve been sober for over 2 1/2 years now and could not have done it without the Cove. The staff members are incredible; I’ve never seen employees more dedicated to the success of the adults that go through this program. They dealt with my ups and downs of early sobriety beautifully and gave me all of the love in the world throughout it.

No, I came to the facility little over 12 months ago. Had it not been for the place I’d be dead. It has saved my life and give me a good point of view for the rest of it.

Momentum offers full wrap around support for the entire family. The therapist was well trained, skilled, knowledgable and an invaluable resource. I recommend Momentum for families struggling with addiction.

Our son arrived to Momentum 1/8/23 and spent 12 months in the program and completed it. I feel a program is only half of someone's treatment and it is not fair to say it is a good or bad program if your child has success or not. It is still up to the participant to engage 110% and want success and not just how the program performs. My review is of the program and we feel based on our experience and knowing how others operate, this was the choice we made for our son because it was a true rehab program. Most are "detox" programs and that just does not work. Our son was 32 and on the older end for the program but we were more than grateful he was able to go exactly when we needed it. It requires deep, hard, long term work. From the staff, to the outside programs, to the expectations/guidelines and weekly involvement by Zoom with us to encouragement, support and accountability with our son, Momentum was exactly what he needed. He was prepared for the future and to carve out his new life and make that community/family which is part of the success. We could not be more grateful and thankful for each person involved in his treatment and for the care and the friendships cultivated. Between his hard work and the program, we are hopeful for his future and know 100 percent there was no other program that would have had this impact on him. My Son was in treatment for substance use disorder at Momentum from February until November 2023. Momentum was recommended to us by New Waters Recovery after a previous unproductive 30 day stay at another treatment center. To say that we did not know what we were doing or what to expect is an understatement. We agreed as a family that we had done all we could and that we now needed to rely on professional help. From the first day on our son's therapist lead us through the process and was there for us all 100%. It was hard on all of us, but nothing was as hard as where we were before. There were a few bumps along the way but Momentum helped us all grow from the experience and move forward. My son was committed and stayed through all of the steps. He has continued to be healthy and sober after leaving treatment. My only complaint would be that the programs final steps are geared more towards the younger age range. My son was 28 when he was there and most of the other young men were college age.
