One of the most relaxing and comfortable places to be able to begin your sobriety. The staff is absolutely amazing. You never feels if you’re alone the tightknit community and the behavioral health technicians. Welcome you with open arms the operations leaders our second to none they will move mountains to see you succeed in your sobriety I was able to spend nearly 100 days  at this ranch . The doctor in Colonel treat you as if your family as long as you respect their house as if it was yours. I would truly tell you this place changed my life. I now sit here with over four months of sobriety in my life has gotten nothing but better since being a Malibu Wellness Ranch. To the newcomers or those who would like to begin their journey and sobriety I highly encourage you reaching out you’re never alone. No matter where you come from in life, I believe we all deserve a second chance I can truly tell you this place developed and encouraged me to take over my life when I was at the darkest point Malibu Wellness gave me light. I can truly tell you without this place I would ever be here. They are integrating new ideas daily as well as the clinical and medical staff treat you as if your there your own. I am a disabled veteran who suffered from extreme anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress disorder. The veterans program here is very welcoming. There’s experts in military recovery and how we can return to a life better than we could ever imagine. I am willing to speak with anyone who is interested in this unbelievable program and I can tell you my firsthand experience. Anthony Zu, My experience. This place truly is magical, all the staff are wonderful and will go out if thier way for you. This is the best recovery experience you are going to find in NEPA hands down. Unfortunately I have special needs that another facility was better accommodating. If it wasn't for that I would of never intentionally left

I'm am an alcoholic for many years and I decided to come to Malibu Wellness ranch and let me tell you it was the best decision I ever made 1st-Tommy the owner great guy he will do anything he can for you i mean anything 2nd-his staff are the most caring, knowledgeable,understanding people you'd ever meet they make you feel so comfortable no matter what your addiction is they treat you with the same love and respect in your worst of times .All the stars in the universe for this place ..malibu saved my life !!Thanks everyone??

Malibu Wellness Ranch has the potential to be an outstanding veterans recovery center with minimal renovations required (updated gym, veteran specific groups) The staff from the top to bottom is phenomenal, ensured all needs were met and questions were answered. I am a firm believer that I have a real shot at recovery because of Malibu Wellness Ranch.

6 stars! They went above and beyond. I'm a non-bionary person from New York in the Poconos. So driving to this place I looking at the towns and thinking about how am I going to live through this. But Malibu was nothing like I imagined. I felt like I was accepted here; by the clients, councilors, for sure the techs, nurses and ever the main bosses. They accommodated the my food allergies and my what could have been a awkward lodging situation with understanding that Im not like other people. Thr barn people were amazing, I was going to miss my riding day because I graduated the program; so Jaime said he'll let me ride the day before. Im going to always remember the place as the facility that got me sober and clean. I look forward to returning but this time as a Speaker not a client.

If you are apart of the LGBTQ community or trans DO NOT go here they were disrespectful and did not give me the respect and dignity i deserve. I was questioned about what genitalia i have and had to fight to be apart of women groups i stayed in the boys dorms and was bullied by clients and staff alike. Tania was dismissive of my calls for help and did nothing about the bullying this was brought up to tom the COO and still noting was done about it. The nurses are the best even though the clinical side of the ranch is a mess. Rachel and Antonio are by far the best staff members. The food was alright and most of the people were ok as well would not recommend.

100% about complete healing. I reconnected with my higher power. The HOW it works was put into action and they led by example. I can't say enough about their commitment to helping others.

I went to Malibu Ranch for a total of 41 days. I am going to be honest I was looking to find anything I could wrong with the place when I got there. Typical alcoholic behavior I suppose. I at first didn't want to open up to much but while at that place it was as if a switch flipped in me. The staff I thought was generally pretty great. It's not a bunch of people with PHDs walking around who have never lived in the emptiness of addiction. It was real people who have lived what we keep a secret in our heads. The staff knows the games people play and they truly want to help people. Tommy the guy who handles operations is a great guy. The cabins were pretty decent. The horse riding was not what I had expected. It was a great experience. I didn't go there to ride horses though. I went there essentially at first because I had to be there, but after a few weeks I began to form friendship with some other clients aswell as the staff. We started an evening prayer group that started with 2 of us and eventually we had 12 when I left. Malibu won't stop you from helping others or interacting with peers. It is a program that isn't extremely stringent. It is very similar to real life. They allow you to make your own decisions to effect your recovery. The staff will call you out on manipulation. They are not mean but they are real people. Who want to see others break out of the cycle of addiction. If your going to Malibu for a 5 star vacation then you are going for the wrong reasons. The facility itself was clean and the food was honestly delicious. It was a home cooked meal for all 3 meals. The staff are friendly but expect you to make your bed and be a generally productive person. They expect your rooms to stay organized and tidy. They assist you in building a foundation. Pete, Austin, Tommy, Kyle, Aimee, Mike and all the other staff I met there where respectful and appropriate for the environment. They will listen and talk to you if you need to talk. After you leave they still care about you. Yes it is a business and it is there job but after you leave they still care, they still listen. Overall I am extremely greatful for my time at Malibu. The decision to live a sober and fulfilling life ultimately falls on the client, but they will give the you template to succeed. I would recommend Malibu to anyone looking to break the "chains". GOD DOES FOR US WHAT WE COULD NOT DO FOR OURSELVES. Thank you Tommy and Malibu staff. Godbless anyone reading this and needing help. Just an update today October 28th 2025 I have 842 days.
