Purple Recovery for Men

This is a good place with staff that care. Highly recommend if you are serious about wanting to change your life. Not recommended if you are looking for a quick tolerance break.

Purple truly changed my life and is a great program for men and their families seeking to try out a new way to live. If it wasn't for the staff and the alumni that freely gave their experience, strength, and hope, I don't know where I'd be at today. Forever grateful for this place and the people that helped show me that recovery is possible.

I graduated Purple in December of 2021. Since leaving the program I've been able to accomplish more than I thought possible. The most attractive thing about Purple is the sober network you gain while/after attending. Purple allows alumni to connect with current clients, creating a sober fraternity. If you or a loved one is looking for a place that is both active and engaging, then look no further.

What I am going to share about purple is from first hand experience. I was lost in a world full of drugs and alcohol. Purple gave me a slice of peace in a hectic troubled world. I found out I can live without drugs and alcohol as a mask and I can be myself. You won't find community quite like purple. You should expect your life to change after you experience this place. Get out of the stagnant habit that intoxicants have you in and live life to the extreme. Try to imagine a world with unimaginable possibilities and complete acceptance. That is where you will find yourself through sobriety at Purple. It is really a great place. A place that you can start fresh.

Warning! This place is a cult, over the phone they say you can get a job and your phone back after 1 month, it's a lie. You have to present to get your phone back and or job (after a month). And by present I mean, present to all the other clients, and the clients will decide if you can get privileges. The living conditions are terrible, over the phone when they say "it's like summer camp" thats because it is, but a sober summer camp, and you have to live in a bunkhouse with 20 other guys. People steal around here, it's basically jail but you get to go on pointless active recovery activities which you will regret going on, because they're all mandatory. Cheddar or Austin doesnt know what he's doing. It's a bad place, unsanitary, and just not good, beware of the refund policy, send your son to another place, because I guarantee he wont like it. A heard a report from a guy who had just gotten his electronics back after three months! Three months not 2 not 1, 3. And again the other clients will decide your fate. And there are these weird things called "drops in the bucket" including but not limited to: cry infront of someone, watch the supersize me documentary, and many other strange things. This place is a CULT. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. Also what kind of name is Purple? Like wth, they must have been high when they named it, Purple? seriously, PURPLE, WHY?

Good place to go to if you’re serious about getting clean and then staying sober. Good group of dudes always willing to help, you’ll have the opportunity to get down to the root cause of your addiction if you choose. You’ll get out what you put in. Teaches you how to live sober in the free world. They’ll give you the tools, it’s up to you to learn how to use them and then actually use them in your life. Would recommend
