Purpose House Sober Living

Purpose House was the key to my 2nd chance to achieve the live that I truly deserve. After battling my alcoholism for many decades, Purpose House was the added (and previously missing) sober tool that I needed after completing my inpatient treatment for the fourth time. I took the advice of others, including my therapist who suggested that if I really truly wanted long-term sobriety that I needed an added commitment beyond my inpatient 28 day treatment. I asked my higher power for guidance, strength, and to help me find where I needed to go to strengthen my sobriety journey. I made the decision to move into sober living…truly the best decision that I’ve made in a very long time. From the moment that I arrived, the overwhelming feeling of fellowship was there. Peers (now friends) who were walking their own journey, but glad to help another brother along. Having accountability, as well as living in a clean and safe environment was so refreshing to me. Purpose House gives you the freedom to live a normal active life during the day, rather it’s working, attending meetings, talking with your sponsor, individual therapist of your choosing, even going to the gym or grocery shopping. I always enjoyed the weekly wrap-up meetings, where everyone got the chance to recap their week and talk about the progress that they were making. I found it encouraging listening to others achieving their dreams or a new sober life. You only have one life to live…why not make it the very best life possible! #grateful #sober #proud

I was there when Terin told me he wanted to open a sober house. I believed him and I'm glad he did because Purpose House Sober Living is a great program! He has integrity and he does for the right reasons. If you're considering a sober house i recommend this place!

I support this establishment 100%! Terin and the management operate a very successful program with assisting their residents with their addictions. This sober living environment is very structured and residents are required to work a program while they stay there which is so vital for their success. This establishment cares about every individuals past, present and future that decide to live here. They also partner with other businesses like Alive to get residents back into the gym if the resident decides to take advantage of that. Terin also does activities with other rehab facilities so that the residents can start building healthy relationships through such things. The success rate at this establishment is much higher then I have personally ever seen with any sober living environments. During COVID times mental illness has skyrocketed by 32% and places like the PURPOSE HOUSE are so vital to assist the world with getting people back on track with what we call life!!

Purpose House was a great experience! For me, it was the perfect resource to help me move forward after my 28-day inpatient program. Terin and the house managers very supportive throughout the entire experience. I can honestly say I don’t think I’d be where I am in my recovery without Purpose House. It’s a great way to move forward!

Pretty crazy that it's been almost 4 1/2 years since I pulled up in front of Purpose House and started my journey to get my life back. I can't stress enough how incredible it was having a such a safe and supportive place to take those first scary steps. A little over 18 months ago, I moved into the Purpose House. I had come to the point where I had to make a change in my life. I'd never done sober living. I was unsure and pessimistic with the way things had gone in the past. Terin was extremely supportive and welcoming in helping me get into the house. The guys at the house were like me, people who wanted to change. Moving into The Purpose House was the best decision I ever made. I have it to thank for being 18 months clean from prescription pills. I have it to thank for getting my family back. I have it to thank for being a better person today. Without a change like moving into sober living, I wouldn't be where I'm at now. The opposite of addiction really is connection. I got what I didn't have before and it started at the Purpose House.
