Levels of Care

Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program, Outpatient, Virtual & In-Home Care, Licensed Primary Mental Health

At Pillars Health Group, teens ages 12-17 receive tailored care for their mental health challenges either in a half-day or full-day outpatient format. The highly structured programs help teens develop practical skills to manage their mental health, communicate better, and regulate emotions. They use a combination of evidence-based therapies to identify and address the causes of the teen’s challenges. Engage in Proven Therapies for Lasting Well-Being Staff at Pillars Health Group primarily uses dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness strategies, supporting teens in building resilience and emotional regulation. They lead teens in “mindful movement”,” helping teens engage both mind and body in healing from various mental health struggles like OCD, ADHD, and suicidal ideation. Balance Treatment with Academics Pillars Health Group understands that being able to maintain academics during treatment is important. The center has a state-certified teacher who works with the teens’ school to support academic continuity while teens are working through their mental health challenges. A typical full day of care consists of an hour and a half of academic support alongside clinical programming. Support After Treatment After completing either their full-day or half-day outpatient program, teens can participate in structured aftercare at Pillars Health Group. They offer one weekly individual therapy session and a full day of group therapy. This aftercare program helps teens as they transition out of treatment and apply their new skills. The formal program lasts 1 month, but is flexible based on the teen’s needs.

Recovery Care Offered

Day Treatment

In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.

Intensive Outpatient Program

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.

Outpatient

Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.

Virtual & In-Home Care

The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.

Licensed Primary Mental Health

Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
