This place is awesome. You’re going to hear people complain about this and that, but honestly you’ll find that anywhere. One of the coolest things they taught me (as part of their Positive Curriculum) is something called the negativity bias how our brain naturally focuses on the bad stuff to try and protect us. Once I understood that, it changed how I looked at everything. But what I can tell you for sure is this: the people here are what make this place. The kitchen staff is soooo nice… and yes, you will probably gain weight 😂 (but that’s a good thing). I was WAY too skinny when I came in. The Director, Glenn, is super cool and has a way of teaching that makes stuff that should be boring actually really interesting. The other counselors John, Brenda, Mike, and Tessa are all in recovery and you can tell. Not just because they tell you (I mean they do lol), but because they genuinely represent what it looks like to live a real life in sobriety, and they truly care. The front desk lady is also super nice, I think her name is Bryana and she was really kind to my family when I admitted. They were nervous and I was scared, and she helped make it feel less overwhelming. The RAs are awesome too. Ms. Angie is sooo sweet and always said good morning. Allison is very nice and helpful firm, but in a good way. Mr. Clint (one of the nurses) is really funny and helpful, especially with medication. Same with Heather, Bethany, Susan, and Inna they were all amazing. I’m truly grateful for everyone here. I have 67 days clean now. Thank you PRC!!! 🙏💙

My time at PRC was very short lived-only about 3.5 days. I guess we are all in different stages when it comes to recovery given past experiences and circumstances. However, PRC provided me assistance with the crucifixion and resurrection that I needed to connect with myself and begin to live a sober life as I have now been clean for over a month. The people in the facility-Glenn, Jon, Dr. Urlich, the nurses, the RAs, to even the culinary team are kind and are highly interested in your recovery and are prepared to meet you with where you are to see you succeed. You can tell from their medical information to personal experiences that they truly mean to guide you in the right way. It was disappointing to have such a short-lived relationship with them, but I value the foundation they helped me build.

My brother was recently admitted to Positive Recovery’s 30 day inpatient addiction, treatment facility for treatment of his alcoholism. The staff members were wonderful! I want to especially thank my brother’s counselor, Jon Dwinell, for his warmth, kindness, and professional guidance. Also, Glenn Carosella, the director, made the admission process so easy. He also was very available to answer questions. The nurses and RA’s were wonderful. I really like the values and treatment philosophy of this facility.
