Love the staff and the doctor.. wonderful people they saved my life

My partner is SIX years into recovery with verified treatment and negative UDS to support him during the entire time. We recently moved to GA and were looking for Sublocade to continue his recovery journey. This company is a perfect example of "once a junkie, always a junkie" one-size fits all mentality that you see in healthcare providers that are not educated in healthcare for someone with a history of addiction. For one, he was mandated an observed urine by FEMALE staff. A male patient. Really? I can't imagine male staff getting away with watching females urinate, but it's fine for females to watch him because...what, he had an addiction half a decade ago, so rights out the window? Next, mandated return to weekly visits. Good for your business model, I'm sure. $100 x 4, helps pay for the overhead, right? Not good for recovery, sobriety, employment, lifestyle for the person who pulled himself up by the bootstraps. But, hey, he doesn't matter, right? I'm disgusted with this place and how they treat people in recovery. And I say this as a long-term CARN-AP and partner of someone in recovery. I understand relapses, diversion, and outright lies happen in the world of addiction and recovery. But that's why patient care should be a case. by. case. model. You say you want to celebrate recovery, but you never let them forget their past, right? Always a prisoner and treated as such. If you have any years of recovery under your belt, I do not recommend this company. Maybe it's good for someone who needs the extra force, but learn to modify your care plan based on patient's needs.

They truly care. My Dr has helps me to manage pain due to colostomy/ illiostomy scar pain etc as well as concearn for heart and mental health support. As well as comprehensive of my goal driven attitude to and graduate the program; never to return and that is ethics as well as true hypocritic oath! Rare these fays in heslthcare. Rather then worring about money they want me to be my best and are helping me reach it daily! 10 of 10 if you need help I highly recommend revida of Abingdon. They will get you out of the active addiction mindset
