Restored Path Detox

I want to advocate for the still suffering people of addiction. Please find another facility! This place is 5 steps backward on the road to lasting recovery and serenity. “Absolutely the Worst Experience” I wouldn’t recommend Restored Path Detox to anyone. From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed disorganized and indifferent. Communication was terrible — I never felt like anyone actually listened to my concerns. The facility did not resemble the photos, and the level of care fell short of what was promised. I expected support and professionalism during a vulnerable time, but instead, I felt like just another number. This was a huge disappointment, and I regret choosing this place.

UPDATE: Dropped it a star because now that they finally stopped screwing up and processed my insurance correctly, they haven't sent me back the money they owe me, over $1,000. Staff is great, they really care, but that's it. Food is mediocre at best. Served us literal leftovers one day, which seems like a health code violation. Reheated food? Come on... Good luck sleeping there: From your room, you can hear every tiny sound throughout the whole building. Doors are like paper. You can hear entire conversations on the opposite side of the building. Management screwed up my insurance billing, promised to pay back the thousands they took in payment from me while I was under the influence (which seems like it should be illegal...), and has yet to pay me a dime. If you pay them up front and your insurance covers your stay, you'll never get that money back. Avoid.

I attended RPD in May of 2025. The place is clean and continually have snacks to help with withdrawals from drugs and alcohol. It's not to large so the cook prepares good meals and the counseling staff taught me a lot. The rooms are nice and comfortable bedding. Staff cleans all day to keep it tidy. Many TVs and channels to watch and wind down after groups. Thanks RPD

If I could give this place zero Stars I would. This place the clients get away with bullying gas lighting other patients and when I finally had enough they tried to make me feel crazy they had a client even getting up at 4am to to make sure I couldn't get on the phone list but them let me feel stupid about sticking up for myself they don't care they let a girl that's had less than 7 months clean run a group because she's the directors daughter they don't make u stay in group they let people run around like its ok as soon as people share they will interrupt and walk out I would never refer anyone to this place so unprofessional and they know I could go on and and on I felt so uncomfortable there to even say anything because they would let the patients gang up on me. So sad im just for the vulnerable person that really wants help and a client like those are walking around in a click and making fun of other vulnerability. Thank I got help else and leaned I wasn't crazy it was the they let the people run this place I left hurt to my soul for the way I was treated so beware and im not lying read the other reviews.oh and im still sober no thanks to this place. But if u pay enough money u can have ur phone and laptop lol....

Great place. Stuff is excellent. Everybody is super nice, polite, and caring. I don’t understand why there is some negative reviews about this place. I’ve been to quite a few Luxury rehabs, and it was a nightmare the way they went about my issue with medication’s. Restored Path is an excellent place. Not ones I felt sick while my stay. And maybe if I did few times . Right away Nurses would take care of it. I see people writing about horrible food or what not else. No phone . That’s what real detox should be like. We not going there to dine and wine. It’s not a cruise ship Or Luxury vacation. We going there to get better. This is the time where you trying to heal . I personally rather not to be filling sick then having private Chef and pool and massages horses, Gym and all other bull. Restore path is great place. I give them Million stars. Someone written something about place and stuff and nurses Disorganized. lol 😂 Try to deal with 30 sick and suffering. Nurses there are amazing the job that they handling with so many cross addicted people. It’s super hard job . I don’t remember names, unfortunately. Jamal , morning and day shift from 8 in the morning till 8 at night sometimes. That is huge long hours. Doug is the coordinator and the owner for corporation is absolutely amazing. He is there every day working really hard long hours while having family in another state. So for people who write bad reviews about this place . Just go else where. Hopefully 🙏 no one have to go anywhere but unfortunately thank God we have places to go when it gets rough. And restore path detox is a great place to go. And for me personally since I have been around the block Quite few times . I can say I will choose this place over any high-end luxury bullshit. But it’s personally my opinion. I don’t really write reviews ever, but when I went on a website and I saw people writing Bad reviews I couldn’t believe it. That’s why i wanted to put in my 5 cents here. If anybody out there suffering and they need safe , clean place with people that care . Restore Path is the absolutely right place to go. If you lucky to get in there. Place is pretty busy in middle of Frisco Tx .

I walked into Restored Path broken on every level! They took me in and nursed me back to greatness!! The entire facility is full of love and Care. No matter what you're going through they have a solution. I love every single person in that facility. I actually had to visit a second time and I knew exactly who to call. They were waiting for me with open arms. This is by far the best facility I've ever received treatment from. Thanks and keep up the great work!!???

Fantastic place! So comfortable and relaxing. The staff is very professional and make you feel better on your road to recovery.

A year ago, I walked into Restored Path broken, exhausted, and completely out of options. Today, I walked back in one year sober, not as a client, but to speak to the people sitting in the same chairs I once sat in. That alone says a lot about this place. Restored Path never gave up on me, even when I gave them every reason to. Doug, the owner, in particular, saw something in me long before I could see it in myself. There was a moment here that I will never forget, what I call my Mirror Moment. Doug literally pulled me in front of a mirror and made me look at myself honestly, without excuses and without escape. It was not dramatic at the time, but it was pivotal. That moment forced me to confront the truth and ultimately changed the direction of my life. What sets Restored Path apart is that they treat people like human beings, not problems to manage or numbers to cycle through. They tell the truth, they lead with compassion, and they stay steady when things get hard. Coming back today, one year sober, and being welcomed back to share my story was incredibly meaningful. If you are struggling, or if you feel like you have failed treatment before, do not disqualify yourself from this place. Restored Path helped save my life. I am living proof that change is possible and that sometimes the place that refuses to give up on you is exactly where it all begins.
