In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
Substance use disorders often occur alongside primary mental health conditions. Programs for co-occurring substance use disorders focus on both conditions, tailoring treatment for comprehensive recovery.

I've never been a patient there. And just looking at the Reviews, I think it's pretty sad how poorly they treat their patients. I myself personally don't have any emotional issues, but one of the therapists Gary Kahudic certainly does! Everyone is entitled to their opinions concerning politics and literally anything else. But when someone takes that to the extreme on a social media platform and insults others to the most disgusting degree imaginable, that's another thing. If that individual happens to be a mental behavior professional that brings it to another level. Take a look at what was said to me concerning my own late father and apparently my grandchildren, which I don't have! This individual is a mental health professional?

One bad apple can spoil a bunch. I love CENTRAL UNTIL TODAY. EVILENE at 1100 POWELL ST AN older receptionists told us we will not be able to be seen due to being late. I explained Norristown streets are closed due to snow removal, she then said it’s at the Docs discretion if we will be seen since her next patient has already arrived for his 9:15am slot. It’s 9:06am I said well he can go now and we can take his slot she angrily yelled it’s up to the Doc. I walked out to talk with my staff and cool off. I walked back in sit down praying doc will see my client. At 9:13am Doc walks in to the clinic, she was late! Evilene skipped us and told the doctor her 9:15 is here. WTH I SAID DOC YOUR 9 am is here she said sorry he isn’t checked in WHATTTTTTT all we could do is wait SAD

I can understand why some people leave negative comments but you need to understand when working with mental health. You need to contact these people in the early morning because most people make their calls in the early morning and there’s only 2 to 3 receptionist that have to answer hundreds of calls. They are not a bad facility. They have a low staff but an incredible front desk and incredible doctors and therapist with any doctors office the best time to call them is between the time they open and before noon because by noon, they’re backed up with so much they can’t answer every call. It’s not they don’t want to. It’s it they have to prioritize. Do not let these negative comments influence your decision you can meet them in person. You can drive there and they will accommodate you I had an unfortunate event where I was trying to get into my telehealth appointment with my psychiatrist and my telehealth Connection got messed up due to connectivity issues and it put me in a really bad spot but the front desk saw that and they helped me out. Sometimes we we sre we feel are problems put us in a different category that all Our question should be answered immediately l. Mental health is not always a 911 emergency as they say when you call if this is a medical emergency call 911 but if you leave a voicemail, they will call you back. There’s never been a voicemail. I’ve left where I haven’t gotten a call back on. We all have issues we all have problems and we all think If we don’t get our answer immediately, then we’re doomed. They’re only human but they get around to us. but to them they value every problem each patient has as if they were the center of the Earth even if they can’t answer you in the moment, they will get back to you and for that I am grateful to them just think about how many people in the United States have mental health issues and then put that in correlation with their facility that takes state insurance, Medicaid and a plethora of others insurance….they’re only human. They’re not computers but when you do speak to them, they treat you with respect they don’t write your problems and All they don’t string you along, they treat you with the respect you deserve The respect you show them and sometimes and I’m speaking for myself that has severe anxiety issues. I’ve been given nothing but the upmost respect even when I feel like they should answer the phone. I know why they can’t. any person that reads this please understand this place has nothing but your best interest in mind and they are a great facility. Give them a chance and they will show you… I had an appointment that was messed up on 12/32 due to connectivity issues I was not able to attend my appointment But they accommodated me and did the best they could to help me. Everybody needs to stop talking shit on the front desk because the people that are doing that don’t understand the pressure they’re under.. . It had a lot of backlash for me in many aspects of my life, but the ladies at the front desk the moment the office was opened, accommodated me and helped me out to the best of their ability. everybody else that’s talking on this nonsense. Take it in and understand it and then call within norma, You need to call before 12 and that’s pushing it. You should call Within the first 3 to 4 hours of them being opened , by the time noon comes they’re stacked up with hundreds of notes that they have to get to take that into account. These people are wonderful and they want nothing but the best for you.

terrible service. phones were never answered and voicemails were never returned. took a week and multiple phone calls for them to set up an intake with me, and then they never sent the link to join the meeting.

I am not a fan of Centrals system of doctor patient communication. I like the group therapists.

prescribed medication without checking my medical history and caused serious complications with my blood pressure. She assumed a collegue's first impression 5 min diagnosis was foolproof correct without conducting her own assessment and that diagnosis also turned out to be the farthest from the truth. Not too terribly surprised given these were Crozer doctors. There is a reason that facility and others are closed and it is not simply financial. Sadly county hospitals have poor funding, equally poor budgets, etc for mental health care/treatment, so the trickle down affect gets passed on to patients

I’ve called numerous times daily to try and schedule an appointment and THEY DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK. absolutely atrocious. It’s no wonder mental health is at an all time low when literally nobody accepts new patients or answers messages and if they do, they don’t accept insurance?
