I was here for less than 12 hours before being taken to the ER. The detox was traumatizing and staff stole most of my belongings. [expand for details] This is not a hospital; they didn’t even have a wheelchair to offer when I could barely stand. They insisted I arrive by 4pm, and I didn’t get any meds until after 10pm. And when I finally did, it wasn’t even anything good - just standard non-narcotic comfort meds. Not that I could keep them down anyway bc they waited so long to give them to me. Apparently they couldn’t find the serax, and you don’t get methadone until the next day ?! I forgot my toiletries bag so my parents dropped it off the next morning. They knew I was in the ER but were told most people come back within 4 hours, so they wanted me to be able to have it whenever I went back. That bag went directly into “storage” at valley forge, meaning only staff would have had access to it. I never made it back there; I was in the ICU for a week. When I returned to pick up my belongings from valley forge, all of my bags had been ransacked. I left with less than half of what I brought. I know it was staff bc that one bag never made it to an area accessible to patients. My boyfriend literally left with no shoes & they handed him some of his shit in a trash bag. They tried to say he came in like that, with no shoes and no duffle bag! I guess he walked in barefoot holding all his shit in his arms then 🤔🤷♀️ I still regret losing all that shit, and the ~12 hours I spent there were the most physically taxing and excruciating experience of my life. GO TO A REAL HOSPITAL (temple is great and they don’t torture you; you will be comfortable in comparison)

Complete Chaos There are just to many people cramped in a small place. Almost impossible to eat because there's not enough chairs in the cafeteria. Wheelchairs are always blocking the hall , they don't really tell you when and where to go to meetings but they do have friendly people working there and good medical.

This is one of the worst private run for profit hospitals that's in a really old and moldy building built in the late 17th or 18th century. They had four people jammed in a room full of inner city IV drug users!. The floor was sticky with urine and it was deplorable conditions.I called the Board of Medicine and a civil rights Attorney Michael J Considine Jr of Chester County. This place was chaos. I seen seizures, overdoses, and terrible staff that spoke inappropriate sexual language to the females.I had to call the police after my husband dropped of moneyv and cigarettes. Lucky for I went to school with officer Mike Patrick and he got the sup par security to show him the video and my items were returned. They denied she even came but the video showed different. The place is gross and overcrowded!,the food was awful, the staff seemed unprofessional and distracted and some were on drugs you could tell!. They say they treat pain well listen up THEY DON'T!. Avoid this money making for profit and only profit place. My last Phyciatrist quit her job here and works at Creative Health in Pottstown, PA. She was awful and prescribed medications that left me in the ER for a week.Contracted a staphylococcus infection and had a weeks worth of pain and IV antibiotics!. That hospital stay cost over 70 thousand dollars!. I had seen drug use and people sneaking out to Wawa and patients having sexual relations.Dont send your loved one here!. Even the hospitals that take Medacaid are better than this!. Eagleville,Brook Glen,Horsham Clinic or the Institute in Malvern are so very much better.I left right away and got real help.Sober this year will be 2 years.Stay away from this place it's terrible and my doctor confirmed it and why she quit.0 Stars.

I had an excellent experience at Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the facility felt well-organized, clean, and professional. The staff was courteous and attentive, making what can often be a stressful visit feel much more comfortable. I especially want to highlight Maureen Richards, who truly went above and beyond. Maureen was compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. She took the time to listen carefully, explained everything clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered. Her professionalism combined with genuine kindness made a huge difference in my overall experience and confidence in my care. It’s clear that Valley Forge Medical Center values high-quality patient care, and having team members like Maureen Richards reflects that commitment. I would absolutely recommend this medical center to anyone looking for excellent care delivered with empathy and respect.
